  1. When you consider the massive cost involved with developing a new model, and considering the 300zx (Z32) was produced from 1989 - 2000. Although that was under a pure Nissan banner, not Rissan. Internationally 350's would have cost a pretty penny on warranty claims.
  2. You boys need to find a few nice long motorway onramps, umm depress the loud pedal a bit, hear the lovely notes they hit after 3k revs. Have to love Kiwi motorway onramps for that, generally nice and long.
  3. Gee it's so hard to find good help these days. We keep Sarnie around for entertainment value, not wait that's Zedrush. Great to have another chick 350 owner around, not many of us.
  4. Haha, not us. [insert angelic emoticon here, if we had one] Lol, perfect. Thank you Sarnie.
  5. Welcome to the forum Holly. Lovely Zed you have there. Were the mods you've listed from the previous owner, or you've attacked it with mods already?
  6. Front that angle the back is a tiny bit Zonda-ish too.
  7. All joking aside, a proper metal cleaner, something a little bit more oomph that the Meguiars Metal cleaner would have done the job. Always rather shy of steel wool, eek. Looks like it's come up nicely though.
  8. Looks aggressive, keep it, in my opinion.
  9. Haha, not us. [insert angelic emoticon here, if we had one]
  10. All abroad, for Zedsville!! It sounds like boarding a plane. Anyway Karl, welcome to the nutty Zed forum.
  11. Lol, so did he also tell you, we're all a little bit nuts. That's Zed drivers for you. Welcome!!! Happy shopping mate.
  12. Welcome Cyas. Pretty accurate comments from Sarnie there. Nice Bimmer you had there. Happy Zed shopping!
  13. Any new Christmas toys for your Zeds??
  14. I have worked in the motorcyle industry in the past. Having seen a hell of a lot of bikes that have been thrown down, and the matching helmets, DON'T scrimp on helmets, get the best you can afford. Ever seen a car helmet, where the drivers helmet has smashed into the roll cage, even with the foam over the cage? I'm being brutal here for a reason. Don't be a temporary citizen please, any of you. "You get what you pay for". The old adage applies here big time.
  15. Now how could anyone find that offensive. Nothing wrong with a bit of light hearted humour.
  16. Merry Xmas to all you tiddly Poms.
  17. Merry Christmas all!! Just had Xmas lunch, when it's only early hours of the morning for you lot.
  18. Welcome Martin. Quite professional looking photos you have there.
  19. Nice belts!!!! A few different cars I co-drive for in trials and rallies on a regular basis. One in particular changed over to much better belts recently. The Twist system is damn hard to deal with, especially if you have gloves on.
  20. Loving all the blue tones!! Is it what!!! Hugely shiny!!!
  21. Strosek is like Ibeherdesign, quite different, not cheap, and great because not many people would be brave enough to do it or have deep enough pockets. I personally like the Strosek stuff. The only thing I'd do differently is perhaps paint of have cover put over the metal bit connecting the top of the wing. Apart from that very nice.
  22. Basically the weight and the composition of the helmet. Motorbike helmets are much heavier, not quite so desirable in a car. As with any helmet, don't scrimpt, get the best you can afford, pretty important to protect your skull. Also in my opinion, full face helmet is always the way to go. Just picture the worst case scenario with an open face. Not pretty.
  23. Market force I'm afraid. US is about the cheapest. As you'll see from the number of members on my350z.
  24. Welcome Stan. If it's an option for you, I'd probably consider keeping the daily driver (that should keep going for a long while yet), and maybe get the 350 as a bit of fun on the side.
