  1. Scrimp on brake pads??? Some people do. i'd rather do that than scrimp on tyres Sarnie, you are a worry. Seriously, you'd scrimp on brake pads and rotors? They're just as important as good tyres. When doing scrutineering in a club situation, we'll boot people off for brakes, just as much as tyres. Sigh............
  2. Fun aside, any driver training you can have is a good thing & may save your or someone else's life one day. A team of us from one of the NZ clubs, instructed groups of novice drivers, all of them were extremely grateful & went away having learned valuable lessons in a safe environment without learning a parent or siblings bad habits. This is a properly sanctioned handling skills school, and we were teaching them skid training, accident avoidance, awareness of what's happening around you, awareness of what the car you're driving will do, etc, etc, etc. Okay, serious hat off now.
  3. Welcome. Good luck with your pursuit of Z ownership.
  4. Hehe, when you're right, you're right! Oh, go on then the other colours are gorgeous too.
  5. Welcome Aaron. Nice looking 350. Why do you have to wait til March for it? Is it coming from Japan???
  6. She looks gorgeous Dave. One proud parent of a Zed ha.
  7. Hey N15MNO, as the others have said, it's a good idea to learn the full capabilities of what your 350 will do. Have you driven a few other 350's as a comparison. I'm not a fan of the stock tyres that come on our cars, but it's a personal thing, so I'm on my 2nd set of aggressive directionals now. Tyres obviously have a significant bearing on how a car handles. I've had a hell of a lot of handling problems & other mechanical problems with my 350 (it's a very special car ). I've dropped out the stock suspension, and replaced with the Tein setup. I'm very happy with it thus far. It's improved the handling, stability, and ride quality no end and is quite low key hidden away. Don't forget to let us know how you are getting on.
  8. My name is Ben! You can call me what ever you like. I'm sensitive. Hello pumpkin Zedrush I swear you are even cheekier since your birthday. Should that be "Cherub". Welcome Ben, Zedrush is the insane one, the rest of us are all quite normal, only with a slight twitch.
  9. Welcome. The Pearl White does look lovely, but can be a bit high maintenance, much like the black. But worth it. Good luck.
  10. She's looking gorgeous Martin. Hard work keeping a Zed looking nice, especially a dark coloured one.
  11. If only it was a hardtop. I love Zonda's. Oh well, sigh............ Now here's a question for you Sarnie, did you buy your Lambo because of the colour??

    400Z

Or a very modern version of a 240z. Is the first thing that occurred to me. Pity old info.
  13. Thanks for that Tere. Actually I'll ask Dave at Nissan Sport Magazine too.
  14. Always amuses me, number of times I've come across a new 350 owner, and they laugh and go we've been wondering who owned the super shiny LMS we keep seeing around. Usually meets with a big , lol.
  15. Thank you guys. I found those ones on Google, but good to see your perception backs up what's on Google. Thank you, thank you.
  16. Welcome Jim. They're all quite nuts here. It's the Zeds I tell, you. We were all quite normal before we purchased our 350's. On a more serious note, hang around, you'll be a 350 owner before you know it.
  17. Trying to round up a few details, as one of our clubs in NZ is displaying all models of Zeds at a few shows over the next month & in process of gathering information. That's where you guys come in. Are there any 350's that are racing in the UK, that are getting into the realms of being famous, or anyone famous racing a 350?? Hehe, yes I searched on Google. You know, as Steve Millen was/is to his infamous 300zx etc. Thank you in advance.

    Crazy 350z

Proportions to my eye aren't quite right. Interesting concept.
  19. Ok Digsy, photos, you know the regiment. Oh, and congratZ!!!
  20. Glad it was just a little scare and nothing more serious for you and the Zed Nixy. Something I find useful is driving wearing polarised sunglasses for the reason you can see all the road surface, tyre tracks possibly warning of nasties on the road etc, that you miss without. (Preferably not a dark tint. If they are good sunglasses you should be able to wear them in most weather conditions).
  21. from the other side of Z world.
  22. Welcome Martin. Cool tail lights. Not seen that done on a 350 before, quite like that with the Z.
  23. Lol, you stole my line. Those rims are gorgeous. Great combo on the white.
