  1. Then some are just beyond help.
  2. Welcome to the forum. Any mods planned? Enjoy that Zeddy.
  3. Hey Saz, check in over at http://www.zchickz.com, it's a forum for & run by female Zed owners, with a few respectful guys. The guys here are pretty mild in comparison to other larger forums.
  4. That's because there's two different types of Zed owner, an enthusiast, and someone who just drives a pretty car, does that make sense. We get the same here.
  5. I was under the impression from a dealer over my end of the world, that the pinnings (where it attaches) the older models are slightly different due to the engine layout in the newer models???
  6. This was one of those rocket science moments.
  7. Some to the tech stuff on http://www.my350z.com can be interesting, or useful, if you can cope with some of the silly twits. It's also the largest 350z community globally with over 100k members.
  8. Lol, no he's not. But as Martin says there are quite a few of us, most of us having owned our Zeds since new. Had mine 4.2 years. Hehe, we sure are. Then there's Tere, who has 3 Zeddies, doing her fair share to ensure not to many guys have Zeds.
  9. I'm not normally a big CF fan, but gee that looks great!!! It looks very complete and balanced.
  10. The ugly bonnet as you put it, is rather necessary to house the super charger though. They actually look a lot better in person, not a very good shot but this 350 belongs to a friend of mine, who's running the full Stillen setup, he's had over 20,000kms of full race driven kms, being driven at full throttle the whole time. This photo was taken almost 2 years ago. One thing I've noticed with his car, obviously being a full blown race car the bonnet is up and down every pitstop, the bonnet is looking a wee bit tired in a few areas.
  11. Looks very , especially the front on one, love those shots of 350's, almost looks widebody in those type of shots.
  12. Well at least Foust will have a few clues.
  13. to Z 1. The bonnet is aluminum, the nose, the bumper, the A pillar, the sills are plastic, the rest is metal, hence the slight difference in colour, paint reaction. 2. The rear subframe is aluminum also, and the bushes are pressed into the subframe. 3. Check out the wonky 2004 oil stick for a laugh.
  14. Now that's a scary thought, a little "Mini Sarnie". Congratulations mate!!!
  15. Looks great Leon. Conventional clay bars freak me out. Think all those nasty surfaces ikkiness stuck in the bar everytime you use it. For this reason I use the Turbo Wax Bug & Oxidation Remover. With this type of bar you wash the grotty bits out, as you go or when finished. No problems with the bar sticking to the container you store it in either. http://www.turbowax.com/cat/bug-remover/ http://www.turbowax.com/prod/turbo-wax- ... r-bar.html
  16. Yes i think i might try to source a door, should be one somewhere Would this not be covered by your insurance, or not worth claiming? One of my mates had his stunning 300zx stolen last year, similar thing done, except way worse, hacked the whole door lock right out, like the metal was butter. Huge mess.
  17. One thing to consider if lowering your Zed, is driveways, speed bumps, etc, etc may become an issue.
  18. +1 + even more. Not that you probably installing race belts, but if you do, belts slide a bit more smoothly over the leather. Leather is easier to keep clean, and quite comfortable, easier to move in and out of. Whatever you go for you'll end up with bolster wear. And from the visual side, imo, the leather looks classier.
  19. Well you'll soon know if your particular car doesn't like the lower octane, will be "pinking", coughing and spluttering etc.
  20. Long shot, but perhaps a locksmith would be able to put a bigger lock mechanism where the stuffed one is.
  21. Welcome. Best to try not thinking about the price of petrol, think about the enjoyment factor.
  22. Welcome Saz, and enjoy that Zeddy.
  23. Welcome to the forum. Nice find there. What year is it, to have such low mileage?? You could weaken and let the wifey borrow the Zeddy on the odd occasion.
