  1. I don't think so. As far as I'm aware, once the manufacturer's warranty expires, their liability ends. That surprises me. Goodness perhaps NZ does have a few modern laws after all.
  2. Out of curiousity, what are the terms of purchase are you protected by law, ie for past the warranty time???
  3. Welcome to the community. Wishing you many happy Z miles.
  4. As below. Definitely plus 1!! Also look for notchiness in the gearbox/transmission, clutch, any unusual wear on the interior, heavy gravel rash/scraping on the Z's underside, make sure the windows are working properly (ie they should go down about 1cm on opening and closing, then go back up to close), if electric seats make sure they're ok, seen a few that are defunct, make sure they have correct sizing of wheels (so you don't have any traction control/vdc issues), plus all the normal car hunting things. Can think of more, that's a start though. Most of all take it for a good distance, on twisty road if you can, you'll soon notice if there are any handling issues, or anything else. Edit -didn't see this til too late. CongratZ!!
  5. Lol, no but spent so much time in the UK know who they are.
  6. Vegeligious was good, catchy. One from me: Vegelife. (getting a bit late in day to be too sharp).
  7. Lol, and there's only a few of us that appreciate that comment, lol, but I do agree.
  8. It actually makes you wonder, as there are nailpolish [girly hat on today ], which is basically paint that will do odd things. For instance Lancome make a nailpolish that when it's wet, if you pass a magnet over the surface it changes form as it has tiny metal flakes that are attracted to the magnet. Lots of paints glow in the dark. So really not so far fetched a concept to do something like that with large scale items like car paint.
  9. Certainly impressive engineering, the new Batmobile.
  10. Welcome, be warned though, Zed ownership, is slightly reminiscent of a sickness, and can be a little contagious. Take a few for a blat if you can, so that'll give you a good balance to make a decision upon.
  11. Lol, don't worry about the boys, they're quite harmless. They're all talk. It's great to have another female Zed owner around, not enough of us.

  13. Welcome to the madhouse. Loving the contrast you'll end up with, bronze with silver. Tirerack is a pretty useful tool. Just pop in the necessary details, and wahla. http://www.tirerack.com/indexA.jsp
  14. Lol, I shan't rush to the cinema to see it then.
  15. Welcome to the community. Tell us more about your 350. Is it a UK one or a JDM (pre-loved from Japan), new??? Yes we ask lots of questions.
  16. Welcome to the forum Neal.
  17. MPH in the US, KMPH in Canada, bar the ones that have been purchased across the border. Perhaps ask Adam @ Z1, as he's in the US. For me personally I prefer to check the tyre pressure the good old fashioned way on a digital gauge, at least I know I'm getting a true reading. One less set of sensors to drive you nuts.
  18. Looking like a great turnout, great club flag too. Who's is the yellow with all the bright bits under the bonnet??
  19. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.......... look you realise this is sung totally out of key. Have a good one.
  20. Go and see Tropic Thunder the new Ben Stiller one. Not too much of a storyline, but heaps of moments, lots of big name stars.

    RS6 Crash

Interesting how the drivers side is in mostly in one piece, and so are the back seats. Not bad given the velocity he must have had for that much damage.
