  1. Welcome to the forum Nick. Gorgeous Z32, they look awesome with the F40 wing.
  2. Good luck with the sale David. What's the next Zeddy you've spied?
  3. But will we talk to you?! Now seriously one of my friends in the US is the managing editor of a car mag there, I should hit him up and see if he wants to do an editorial for the UK troops. Some seriously nice cars up there.
  4. [angel emoticon] inserted here, as we don't have one. Haha, Tere, always up to mischief.
  5. Welcome to the forum Nick, I maybe a little biased but you picked the best colour. [waiting for the ensuing mischief from non Sunset drivers ]
  6. I'm guessing that means more than just replacing the transmission oil. What else does it entail? Old oil is flushed out by machine, new fluid goes in. Not really a major. Any dealer (lol, did I say that) can help with that, or a trusted mechanic.
  7. International fame, quick someone get their signatures!! Well done you guys. Nice lil right up Adam.
  8. Jay's baaacck!! Must be sniffing too much paint from his latest project. Will look into the cost and get back to you. Just looking at shipping costs at the moment http://www.zclub.org.nz/forum.php You might need a few tugs to pull the UK this far. Oh, by the way Beavis, it's only the 3rd day of spring, sun is shinning, it's 20 degrees, lol but we had 3 solid months of rain, massive landslips. Might need a bit of the UK to make up for that whats been washed away. On the upside show and race season is here!!!!!!!!!! Box the Zeddy up and send it over to NZ I'll look after it over your autumn & winter for you. You won't find a more generous offer than that.
  9. Aaaw, how cool is that, the car staying in the club.
  10. Hi sake-bito, I've driven 16 350z's, and been a passenger in more. Both manual and auto. Honestly you don't sacrifice much having an auto. I'll normally blitz the manual guys off the line in either manual or auto mode, and my braking points are similar to manuals, that's purely driving style, being reasonably aggressive, and driver experience. In terms of drivetrain loss, only marginally more than a manual. The transmission is very smooth, and responsive, everyone comments on it. In extremely heavy traffic being able to switch it into auto mode is a leg saver. If you drive mostly in auto mode of course you'll use a bit more brake pad, but not hugely so. When I first got my Zed 4.4 years ago, I was driving in extremely heavy rush hour traffic and traversing the city all day in heavy traffic, it saved my sanity.
  11. What is the world coming too. Anyway, I've got silver ones with a Z on the top of mine, I think they came from Ebay (was a birthday pressie last year), they have a locking mechanism, if they're on tight, you definitely need the key to get them off.
  12. What, no birthday wash even?!
  13. Andy that's absolutely horrible, so glad you're okay though. I've put it up on the http://www.zclub.net site too, they're a good bunch there, they'll keep an eye out too. Edit, and I see Mart did too, more eyes the better.
  14. Hi ya, as Gixx says, it's not unusual. One of the boys will probably be able to find the applicable technical document on here or look on http://www.my350z.com. You will definitely find the technical service doc on one of those sites, slap that in front of the dealer as proof of a known issue. That's not an unusual thing for a dealer to say, surprised not more have chimed in yet. It's either that or "we can't replicate the problem", been there done that. Sigh.........
  15. Has your Z had a trans flush at any time? Found after my Z had mine done it shifts even faster and smoother, when I'm being lazy driving in very heavy traffic in auto mode.
  16. bronzee

    Pics finally

Looks very tidy! Were are the normal 350 stonechips in the nose?!
  17. Looking good. Have you got some good car cleaning products to keep that baby pristine?
  18. santa pod runs a RWYB (run what you brung) days, so you can turn up with anything Far out, that's nuts. I know I'd be wanting a hard out, fully caged car to run those sort of speeds. Here anything sub 11's has to be fully caged and certed, log book before it can run, that's just a normal small car club meet, not even a big one where they're running 7's etc.
  19. That is a very impressive display, for the wording, and for the numbers involved. Logistical nightmare to do the wording. Only 4 yellows ones too. Lol, at the muppets who cut across the onramp to get out of the convoy. I can imagine the constabulary would have had fun okaying that convoy.
