  1. Go flower power. Now seriously, get yourself some orange mods, so the orange isn't lonely. ......... actually it looks good, stands out more than a flattish colour.
  2. So one would presume that they get you to do that, as it decreases their premiums they pay if you're driving one of the company cars? Good for you none the less.
  3. Welcome back Lexx!!! Did you miss the madhouZe?!
  4. For not that much more, there are far more interesting cars to be had in my opinion. No disrespect to anyone that has their deposits in.
  5. You did very well!! Give yourself a pat on the back. White and yellow are to my mind the most difficult.
  6. Looks great. We know that excitement.
  7. Mart, she looks absolutely stunning, those wheels suit it down to the ground!!! You must be totally wrapped!!!
  8. I hear what you're saying, however that's not the case - or the reason I put it on here. The first reason I put it on, is that I've seen others doing it not only on this forum, but on others too. The second is that a lot of car forum'y type people are in IT, or at least they are in my experience so far and so I thought perhaps they may know someone, or perhaps be looking for a change themselves. The third is, that I thought this was a pretty open community that enjoyed helping each other out, advice or otherwise - so in this case I've put up an ad for a job, which I put here: http://www.cwjobs.co.uk/JobSearch/JobDe ... d=41417095 first.. That and I dislike recruitment agencies, having in the past worked for one (in an IT role). I have a problem with paying 25% for them to send me a CV - which in this case could potentially be £8000. Its worse than the commission you'd pay an estate agent in some cases - and they do a lot more work for it. So no blushing from me, IMO I have many valid reasons It's only networking, just online. Go for it, and I reckon you'd be about right with the ratio of IT peps on most forums. Good luck, and if you can beat the agencies at their own game, do it.
  9. One thing that may come into play, if your specialist doesn't give you clearance, ie think it's safe for you to drive with your gammy shoulder, and you do, and something horrible happens, would your insurance cover the damage? Had to go through that when I badly busted an ankle, cleared with both specialists and insurance before I drove, you know just in case. Insurance companies don't need much of an excuse.
  10. Unfortunately for owners of pale or the brighter colours it's just a fact of life that our Zeds won't get the look of the dark or black shades. It looks great. Did you take some before pics?? By the way, Ms Munroe is a fab name for your curvaceous blonde.
  11. Welcome Dano. What colour is the one you've almost got??
  12. One would presume that you've phoned them back and had a go at the service manager. That's disgraceful.
  13. Bingo, that's what I was going to say. Funny, if not totally pathetic.
  14. That's why it's funny. yes you did Actually, Sarnie said 'I'd be rich without this place' Mike 15 luv to Sarnie I think.. To be fair, hardly anyone saw what i originally typed as Mike changed it Aaaw. I did. Well said Stan, also I think that goes with a lot of clubs. It just fuels the passion for the marque. Birds of feather, and all that.
  15. There's more of you, is that a good thing or a bad, not sure?!
  16. They sure do, but not very friendly to paint with their sharp claws.
  17. Maybe he was a bit like that,.... ya know.
  18. Who me. Practice makes perfect.
  19. Welcome to the forum Allan. Your Sunset looks very tidy, not done many miles?? Considering Sunset is one of the lesser produced colours, think they must have shipped most of them to the UK and NZ.
  20. Welcome to the forum. Cute little Suzuki. You have to promise us when you get a Zeddy, you won't let the furline sit on your bonnet.
  21. I wonder if it will be heavier as with each of the newer models that have come out.
