  1. I can't help you on that one, as I'm the otherside of the world, and I didn't have mine done at a dealer. I've not noticed that with my Z, pretty smooth always has been.
  2. Cool motor there. Nice progression from the Punto.
  3. Welcome to the forum David. Great to hear that the forum helped you with your Zed purchase.
  4. Is that bonus??!! Hehe, now seriously you're all lovely. Except for Sarnie Every site has a bad boy. You're all so completely terrifying.
  5. Congratulations Shuck. I won't say welcome, coz you've been around since July. Any pics yet?
  6. Welcome to the forum Phil. As Stew's already said, they do switch off when the ignition does, but always a good idea for them to be off when not in use, in case of shorts etc. Do you mean you turn it anti-clockwise to lock it, if yes, my Z is the opposite, ie turn it clockwise to lock. And yes I have a booty alarm system so that's always on too.
  7. Welcome to the forum. Tell us more about your 07. How long have you had it, how many miles etc????
  8. Welcome to the forum, and happy shopping!!!
  9. I'd noticed something similar about a year back and a half back. Managed to get hold of proper digital gauges. Normal running temperature is about 36/37 degrees (on the right hand portion of the plastic as you mentioned), this was testing using 3 different 350's, driving over the same circuit. So after testing my Z was getting up to about 42 degrees. Had a trans fluid change not too long after that and it all settled down. Is your trans at all graunchy at all??
  10. I would also be asking to see said stuffed fused bit, just for your peace of mind. And have a look at the general area.
  11. Presuming you mean the backlighting on the dash. Are you sure the toggle buttons haven't dimmed the backlighting??? About 4 or so years back the backlighting on my Z went super dim, after Nissan dealer did a bit of playing with the toggle buttons (lol it took them a while to figure it out too), was back to normal. Sorry I can't help anymore than that. But worth a try. Have you had a nosey in your owners manual?
  12. Phil and the family come first. I'd like to wish you all, the best of luck. Please make sure you keep in touch here. Also I'm sure Fletch and Mark will have picked up some useful Zed knowledge, so make sure you guys keep in touch with the forum too, you never know some of the guys may follow you to where ever you next. By the way Andrew how is Phil getting on now?
  13. 2003 and 340hp, something's not right there unless it's modded, unless I'm wrong.
  14. That's more of a Lapis blue if that changes things. I've seen far worse.
  15. Welcome to the forum. Beaut looking R32. Hope the Zeddy doesn't take you too long to get back ship shape.
  16. Welcome to the forum! Lol, na it will only cost you a bit of damage to your wallet.
  17. Is that bonus??!! Hehe, now seriously you're all lovely.
