  1. Plastx usually only lasts a few weeks, and other ways are abrasive on the plastic. Turbo Wax Headlight Restoration kit is awesome to sort hazy headlights. It's easy to use, and it lasts a good 6-8 months plus even in the very harsh NZ climate. http://www.turbowax.com/home.php?xid=db ... c221bea003
  2. Macca it sounds like it could be the Crank Position Sensor. Common problem, and a lot of the earlier models do it. There was a TSB out in the US for it.
  3. Nixy, is that where the submerseable Zed comes from? Lol, and probably ruining a good pair of Blatniks or the like, probably worth more than the Zed these days. That's what you get for lowering your car to F1 ride height
  4. At least you can't complain that there was dust flying whilst you were working. Looks good.
  5. Damn nice DB (I'll use the US colour names), even better to see one that looks equally at home on the track as it does at a show. Do you use the same handle on the my350z? Not seem your username there before that I can remember.
  6. If it makes you feel any better, a few of the guy Zed owners over here even after years of ownership are rubbish at parallel parking and reversing into parks, so don't worry. Just keep practising. We believe, millions wouldn't.
  7. Hang in there Andrew. Given the circumstances I'm sure people won't mind being patient. Chin up.
  8. Aaw, pity you're selling Rob. Good luck with finding an your Zed an appreciative new home.
  9. I suppose its kinda sad. I'm just car mad. Its all I read about and mostly all I watch on the box. If I drove a metro I`d probably be the same. Washing and polishing it all the time. Lol, you're in good company around here. We're all nuts.
  10. Lol, Nixy you evil parent, getting them mid squeak.
  11. What you mean Mothercare isn't open 24/7?!
  12. Perhaps wait til the dealers are getting really hungry, perhaps they will be desperate enough to business that you may get an okish deal.
  13. Zorro, do you have a fear of being parted with your Zed?? Cool shots guys.
  14. I'd say the sticky out bits at the front form an airflow around to the sides of the car, but then I could be wrong. I've seen far worse, and at least being Nismo the fit should be good.
  15. Aaw, come on, where's your sense of fun?!
  16. I did a Blue Spec R S15 Silvia that was in a similar condition a little while ago, he also has a Honda race car that I detailed as well, in a similar state. Much the same sort of comments, "I can't believe it's the same car, you turned a sow's ear into a silk purse". His workmates were just utterly stunned. Very nice work mate.
  17. Welcome, what colour is your 53?
  18. Well done you turned the car from a piglet mobile to a car that looks like it's cared for. A busy 2 days for you.
  19. Welcome to the forum. You're obviously intending on modding the Zed to be as well?
  20. What a find, a one year colour (2007), and low mileage. Well done.
  21. Welcome for the forum Simon. What spec of Zeddy are you picking up?
  22. Welcome DA. As they boys mentioned some good deals to be had. Happy hunting.
  23. Would think you're on the money there. Also in the distant, distant distant future, if you were parting a car out, then a newer motor would perhaps be better.
