  1. Hmm, must not be rude, at least he was trying.
  2. I haven't got past photo number two yet.
  3. I personally wouldn't put 19's on my car as you sacrifice handling.
  4. Welcome to the forum Rory. Zeddy looks great! Nice to see your former toy had 350 rims on it.
  5. Neat vid Rob, love seeing 240's blatting around the track. Quite frequently when we have our track days, the 240's will often have the fastest times around the track, reasonably worked, but not extremely so. You know the answer to that, she needs a toy too. One of the guys in the club here, a few times when he's handed his 350 over to his fiancee at track days, she's carved quite a few seconds of his lap time, her lines are clean and smooth. Mind you she beat most of the guys easily when we went clay bird shooting too, and she's only tiny.
  6. For the first year or so when I still had the stock Potenza's Slip light would come on a few times a day easily in Winter especially. When I swapped back over to my favoured GS-D3's and now running on Yokohama V103 Sport's, it's extremely rare that the Slip light comes on, even in the wet when giving it a bit. Tyres make a huge difference.
  7. Lol, Trev. Speaking of jokes, where did Zumm disappear to? None of his jokes for ages.
  8. Couldn't agree more Mart!!! London is much like driving in Auckland (NZ) or other big cities, kill or be killed. Scares the jeepers out of most people from out of town. Ohhh I hear you on that! And what about Naples!! That's totally insane. No semblence of rules at all.
  9. Welcome to the forum Muse. When you find one you like the look of post up a link, or you can see who's nearby to go for a look and check it over with you. At least by June/July the weather will be pretty good and you can enjoy driving.
  10. They are lots of run, aren't they. Hannah, check in over at http://www.zchickz.com, that forum is owned and run by female Zed enthusiasts, ones with scary amounts of Zed knowledge like Tere. It's great to have another female around.
  11. Welcome to this forum Rob. I knew I recognised the username. Speaking on behalf of the women car lovers (and I'm sure Nixy and Bronzee will back me up on this), I really think you should let your daughter have a go, isn't it universally known that females are the better drivers (don't know why I can't keep my mouth shut on a predominantly male forum ) Yip. If your daughter is that fearless Rob, she might be rather quick around the track as long as she keeps it tidy. My dad loved his powerful cars, but I've kind of taken the obsession to a new level.
  12. 7 spoke are on the tiptronic 17's, I guess JDM's (that you get in the UK), the more squarish looking ones with the little diamonds up the spokes. Welcome to the forum. As the others have eluded, you'll be surprised how much you can get in the back of a Zed, and I'm talking behind the strut bar, I rarely store anything forward of the strut bar as you can't secure it. The road noise is slightly higher in a roadster, you have slightly less torsional rigidity and the roadster is slightly heavier. That said it doesn't seem to slow the ballistic ZR owned by ZMANALEX.
  13. I should get paid to be here But then you'd have to do something useful.
  14. Lol, you'll fit in well with the rest of we Zed Obessive Compulsive Cleaning Disorder owners then. Who are they then..... I wonder.
  15. Welcome to the forum Hannah. Amazing all these females finding the forum, unless that's a surname, lol. So are you enjoying your Zed?
  16. I've been through an awful lot with my Zed too, but once you're back on the road, all the disappointments will be worth it. Keep thinking about being able to drive your Zed again Marky.
  17. Would that have been the white one?? Looks good in the pic. Mind you purists wouldn't like to see the rims painted white.
  18. My Zed had a number of doosey scratches Ian from being keyed etc, ahem, , anyway, with the process and the products I use hides most scratches/marks, even the deeper ones. I use the gentle Turbo Wax products. Wash and clean the surface, cleaner wax, swirl remover, then wax, all can be found on (I think there is a UK dealer now too): http://www.turbowax.com
  19. Sarnie, I have to admit that is the wittiest thing you've posted for a while.
  20. Ooops, had the opening date wrong, was the 5th of March, so we saw it on IMAX on Saturday night. I thought it was a cool movie, a bit Quentin Tarantino'ish which is good for something a bit different. Some pretty brutal scenes but in context with the movie. Cinema even though it seats 500 was packed. Could hear some of the girls surrounding that had been dragged along by their partners making squeamish noises.
