  1. Welcome Bob, you're in good company around here. Few Sunset owners too. So many plans to mod the Z???
  2. This version is fairly widely use now. Good job guys will be easier once we all adjust.
  3. That's super cool!!! When you guys are all together, you should do a card or something for him, and have everyone sign it. Sure it would mean a lot him and the family.
  4. Very cool Shire!!! It sort of looks a bit like a painting.
  5. It's pretty easy. Just logon to Photobucket, then just select the pic you want to upload to photobucket from say your PC or whatever, then when you've uploaded to PB, you can copy & paste the IMG code into here, to post your pic here.
  6. Think of the precious shopping money you may want to splurge on.
  7. Why don't you flick P15ULT a pm, he would probably know the quick way to get the headlights apart.
  8. Aaaw, come on, it's Spring up there now. Should be starting to warm up a bit. Weather is still pretty good down here, 24-27 degrees most days, no rain, but mornings quite crisp now, but perfect weather for being outside, lol oh and car detailing. Na, that was only a couple of hours, just a baby detail that time as it was already good, from the previous weekend. Bingo!!!! How did you guess?! Actually it's a Turbo Wax sticker. Excellent, so have I inspired your dirty Sunset owners to get out there and clean then?!
  9. Welcome to the forum, and don't forget to take a few for a good blast.
  10. Welcome to the forum, and good luck on the Z hunt.
  11. I though a 350 with GT pack was also around 1525kgs - could be wrong though The UK version might be. The top spec version we got in NZ were 1465kgs, as per the very first brochures I still have, UK might be different with your different regs, might be a few extra bits.
  12. Fingers crossed Nic that they forget about the rest of the ticket.
  13. Well I had fun today. 2nd coat of the brand spanking new Turbo Wax with Polycharger. Absolutely loving the results, and I've been using the original Turbo Wax for over 2 years now, and I thought that was fantastic, with new version with Polycharger is the best wax bar none that I've used. I got the water blaster out to do the usual foam wash for the Z, but I didn't need it. As I used the normal garden hose, which is a reasonable pressure, muck just washed straight off, no baked in grime, so I washed the Z by hand. Now even being a sunset the reflections were superb, just imagine if this was a black or dark coloured Z........ Anyway, enough rambling, a few pics
  14. Welcome to the forum, what year is your Z to be?
  15. And don't we know it It would be boring if we were quiet and retiring. Lol, good luck with that, it will be even worse driving a Zed.
  16. Might be one they've bought in for the media to play with.
  17. That's great after your worry earlier this week. They're pretty thrifty on open road driving. My Z will usually get about 700kms plus from one tank, and that's not tootling around either. Enjoy!!
  18. I thought it was supposed to be lighter than our Z33's. 1525kgs, is heavier, unless that's incorrect, given our first incarnations are 1465/7kgs. Unless Jenny Craig didn't work, and it put on 60kgs.
  19. Or urban myth to cover some rough drivers and sales people taking it for a spin?? Self healing paint huh? One of the girls I know that has a white R35, said that it's apparently the silver ones that have the self healing paint, not sure if that's right or not, but that's what she said.
  20. Happy birthday Nic!!!! Bit belated, but hope you had a fantastic day!!! :kicking Oh, and what, no little Zed goodies for your birthday then???
