  1. I quite like the programme. All the pre-historic type creatures. It's kind of quirky.
  2. Just as well you both have different rims. I like the colour of those Zeds for some reason, not sure why.
  3. Almost forgot to mention our Steve Millen was there in his GT40, and Nissan brought along an R35, but no 370z as they're not out here until next month. Just as well Mr Mac wasn't there then. Mental note, don't plan any events if Mr & Mrs Mac make it to NZ one day.
  4. Thank you guys. Looks like all that positive thought you were sending down to NZ worked. It dawned a crystal clear day, not even one cloud in the sky, stayed the same way all day. There were 9 x 350's there. One red, 1x black, 1 x carbon silver, 2 x silver, 3 x Daytona Blue (Azure) & my LMS (sunset) + lots and lots of other zeds, everything from an extremely rare globally 1967 soft top fairlady, 240z, right through the range we had everything. Absolutely brilliant day. 100 people, plus a few randoms, heaps of Zeds, stunning day, even if the ground was a bit damp, slow going on the ground, but we made it with only the occasional push required to move people around. If you see pics of what looks like a 240z drag car it is, it's actually the worlds fastest street legal 240z drag car, sub 8's, 1300hp, lol when he started it for a few minutes the waste gate burnt the ground. The pics really don't show how amazing & stunning the cars are. One of the guys had the very first 240z imported into NZ 40 years ago. So very special, and lots of history as it belonged to his dad, &it's still very original and stunnnnning! I hope you can see these links, if not you'll have to join our forum or Mr Mac will have to pass along details. http://zclub.org.nz/album_cat.php?cat_id=62 (slide show of pics you should definitely be able to see, even more pics being uploaded now). http://zclub.org.nz/album_cat.php?cat_id=62 (there is a massive panorama on very last post on this page, but you need to be logged in to see it)
  5. Us too. I seriously hope it doesn't rain tomorrow. Bad enough as it is, looks like the ground will be too sodden to park on the grass and make a cool display the way we'd planned, well looks like we'll all pack into the gravel.
  6. Welcome to the forum Helen. Hehe, Helen if you are wondering what a sprinkling is, that would be we girls. Seems to be quite a number of us now.
  7. Don't know where the hell you are! here it's all Moon Moon Moon! He was probably wondering why he didn't need his sunglasses.
  8. Lol, you're having a dream.
  9. I wouldn't think so, considering you can only just squeeze tyres in around the strut brace. But in a 370 with the open area in the back, maybe, with bike wheels off of course.
  10. Oh the frustration. We have a major Zed event here tomorrow, Steve Millen, Nissan, the works, and it's been raining all day, hoping it will clear soon so I can get out there and give the Zed a quick detail. 50 odd cars, 100 people, it'd better be a nice day as forecasted tomorrow. Martin can you wave your weather wand please. Can someone please bottle some instant sunshine down the net?!
  11. Ah, on day 2 of the lovely green machine.
  12. Remember the little people when you become a famous weather forecaster Mart.
  13. Nismo do a nice seat belt gizmo thingy. That could be down to the cleaning products used.... As Stewy points out, the wax will make all the difference. For instance my Z LMS always looks a different colour, brighter than most because of the coats of wax, makes the gold fleck pop.
  14. Gotta love black when it's that clean. Lovely work.
  15. Wasn't that on the list of recently voted worst looking production cars?
  16. Welcome to the forum Marty. Some lovely Zeds for sale on here too, check out the for sales.
  17. Welcome Daz!! Pics of Zed, presuming you have one????
  18. Too me, as the pics aren't mega close up. That almost looks a rusty colour under where the damage is. No signs of any bog under there?? And yes as your friend says it's very common for cars to be damaged on route to a dealer, or whilst they're sitting at the lot. Have you had the damage priced out by anyone yet? Is it worth having a chat to a lawyer. A lot of us have copped the attitude at different times, and I went through the wringer with my Z, but you'll get there. Just teething pains mate, keep on the case.
  19. One thing once you get a rack sorted whatever it might be. Make sure you have something with you to hold the front wheel of the bike in place or at least to cover it. Our Z paint isn't very thick so it damages easily. Never had either of my bikes in the Zed but have in all my other cars.
  20. As Martin says, just take it easy until you get used to it, and all will be fine. Settle in, relax but aware and enjoy the trip home.

Thread should have titled "Zeds in their natural habitat". Zeds are looking good you two.
  22. Lol, it doesn't get hot enough there to need aircon.
