  1. Surely that must be a promotional thing?! Imagine trying to drive with all those lights inside the car reflecting off the glass. Nightmare. Bad enough trying to do night trials and having a co-pilot using a small torch in the car.
  2. They certainly are!!! We have only 3 left in NZ. There was 4 last year, but one was written off. Pic's here of one of our guys Roadster, doing the dirtkhana in March. http://zclub.org.nz/viewtopic.php?t=1166&test=test

Looking good. Are you enjoying the change over? I'm a bit surprised you are allowed to use bolt in cages at track days over there. Will you go a full cage at some point?
  4. I think I can see 1mm where there's no shiiiiinnnee!! Looks great.
  5. Lol, had my car used a few times for promo stuff, bimbo's, oops I did mean models, honest, leaning on the freshly waxed paint. Nixy, Cara, Sarah and the other girls asked if we can see pics of the male model?!
  6. Hmm Sunset!! And it looks very tidy.
  7. Welcome to the forum Jim. There's a dark blue 2007 roadster in the for sales here, unless it's gone already.
  8. Welcome to the forum Sean. No sitting in a Zed lark, you need to take one or two out for a test drive.
  9. Can see you didn't enjoy your drive at all. When, as we can all see it will be when, your wifey goes for a drive with you, just adjusting the seat a bit more will help. 2 adjustment points for co-pilots. Happy wifey, happy you in a Zed.
  10. Welcome, a few posts, but no pics of your Zed yet. We're not at all demanding. Anyone would think we like Zeds.
  11. Welcome to the forum Pup. Your cars not a pup, just needs a lil' bit of TLC. If it was your drivetrain/driveshaft (ie the very long cf bit, not the axle assemblies you lot refer to drivetrain ), it would most likely be the Universal Joint (UJ) you would feel the vibration very heavily through the firewall under load if you put your ankle against the firewall, you would also feel the vibration through the seat and steering wheel. Axle assemblies can vibrate, but given the first description you gave us in post one, check the things RTbiscuit has suggested, seems most likely. (I've been through replacing the driveshaft & an axle assembly quite a while back). Mr Biscuit is onto it. Let us know how you get on.
  12. Anyone else got squealing problems with Yellow stuff? I am planning to install mine next week and would be useful to know what to expect! Almost nil noise even on the coldest morning (2nd Winter) or hot under heavy braking. Mic-39 were the pads properly bedded in? Been happy with Yellows, and they produce less dust than Mintex. Having said that will probably go Ferodo when they are due for replacement, just for a change, to see if I like the Ferodo's better. Good enough for the hardcore racecars 350's here, good enough for me and the odd track day.
  13. Just one pair of gloves used! You'd want gloves to protect the gloves! Gross!
  14. Teg looks great Sean. Oh and the white wheels, standard. and a bugger to clean. Have you tried detailing the wheels and putting a coat of wax or wheel wax on to protect the wheels? If not it might make it a bit easier to clean them.
  15. Welcome to the forum. So you didn't tell us what you are driving currently????!!!
  16. Welcome to the forum. Keep and eye on the for sales here. There's been some lovely ones up for sale recently.
  17. Welcome to the forum. Shouldn't be a drama getting your clutch sorted with all the helpful folks around here to offer advice.
  18. Just as well you found the forum then finally.
  19. Welcome to the forum Phil. Bit far away to be of any help.
  20. It looks absolutely stunning. More pics of the Zed logo on the carpet please!! I've not seen a footwell carpet with clear plastic on it before.
  21. Cool fun!!! Always fun to have different varieties of cars to pit yourself against.
  22. Don't worry about the soccer. Where's that Zed that you said you'd purchased Sarnie?? Is the Zed bigger than 5cms long?!
