  1. Some of our cars do suffer the "crank position sensor" problem. Is a right pain, with most I've seen it's only periodically and when it does will do it a few times, then not do it again for ages. If you crank it once, doesn't go, then switch off, flick alarm, then retry but give it a 30 seconds before you retry. One thing though with the Crank Position Sensor, engine check light, ESP/TCS don't flash on any of the 350's I've seen here when it happens. So your problem might be something completely different. Get a code reader on it before doing a reset. Good luck.
  2. It's a bit like a motorway, only difference, the motorway isn't normally so punishing on the plastic or eftpos card.
  3. Hehe. Didn't hear that bit. Keep up the good work minus the lemon.
  4. A stockish Zed isn't a 500hp beast, but it's no slouch either. Everyone that is even mildly into cars that I've had in the car has been impressed with the immediate torque, and delivery and being shoved firmly back in their seat with a little pedal action. A 350's torque is very linear, as has been said many times here and most other 350 forums, you look at the speedo, and oops, slightly off the juice pedal. You might have more luck going along for a ride with someone now people are back from the Hoon and back to normal.
  5. I have it, but might be a few years out of date if I can find the email. I rang directory, got the phone number, then phoned up, got address, or maybe your directory there is more helpful than Kiwiland's.
  6. On the upside at least you had a chance to drive the Zed, even if you did get a bit of curb rash.
  7. What a drive and what pics!!! That will be one in your memory banks for a long time. Impressed, with only 5 tanks of gas over 1950 miles, and especially through that sort of topography.
  8. Vid is going speed of snail to watch, so didn't, but will only feel more jealous of all of the fun missed. You need more wax on your rims mate.
  9. Neo, don't know if they use the same batteries in your cars in the UK as they seem to in the US and down under, but in a thread that was on the US forums and most of us in Kiwiland, most change their battery/or it just dies at about 5 years, so might be a smart move so not to get stranded. Changed my Zeds battery at 4 years 5 months I think, but then I drive with my headlights on all the time, so drain the battery slightly more. I think Bronzee's is the oldest, then it could be mine Maybe. 5 years, 5 months, since I purchased the Zeddy new.
  10. Looks very nice. Hands up who didn't get past the 8 car parking.
  11. Guess his about to be ex-Mrs won't be though. Did you get any Zed bits for your birthday then???
  12. Rocket Scientist. Imagine explaining that one to your insurance company.
  13. Lol, I hope you're not teaching English. (I'll get my coat).
  14. Looks pretty damn cool to a Sprinkle too. Hmm, now which........
  15. Lol, you deserve to have to wait for hours. This thread cracked me up, you guys are hillllllarious!!!!! Can picture you having your teeth pulled literally whilst waiting for other halves shopping. All bar Jay and Chris. Jay accumulating and getting into heaps of trouble.
  16. Zed looks fab Ming. Nice job. Products make the difference, sometimes so does our demeanour/interest when we start the detail that particular time.
  17. Well that certainly was swirlylicious. Those 50/50's are like night and day.
  18. Hang in there. I went to hell and back (faulty components from the factory) with my 2004 that I've had since brand spanking new, it's only parts and parts are replaceable. Once you get over that, should all be fine. Don't accept something if it's not 100% fixed. Good luck and keep us posted. Chin up.
  19. It all looks stunning. Oh, and yes do tell who that supplier is in Australia. I know COZ do a lot of great Zed stuff. Think they're in Sydney, can find out though.
  20. Look at this way, it's an investment in your future, oh and a way to keep the rain off when you sleep. Congrats on the purchase.
  21. Ian makes a very valid point about the tip of numbers. Anyway that thread was mildly amusing.
