  1. Oooh, nice flake pop. The night shot with the house behind the Z is very appealing.
  2. Aaaw, congratZ on the impending nuptials. You need one of these ...
  3. Zanthe is quite a pretty girls name, bit different. Zethan is pretty cool, according to one of the above links meaning Shining. Also still kinda sounds like the name of our cars.
  4. Time flies when you're posting Nix.
  5. Lovely job Ming. Even looked better after the wash.
  6. Ooops, I can't imagine how I missed the first time round. Still an interesting looking car though.
  7. If it was on looks alone, this is the first BMW I've liked in a long time. Sounds like it will be fairly powerful too. Not a fan of hybrid, but possibly we'll all be forced into one at some stage. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/motoring/news ... d=10597413 http://www.autotrader.co.uk/EDITORIAL/C ... ealed.html
  8. Back to basics Wookie. How old is the battery in your Zed, possibly it was sitting on the shelf at the shop for ages and ages? The stock battery in my Zed lasted a smidge under 4.5 years, changed to another as couldn't get a Nissan dealer when the first one died. With the 2nd battery I had numerous issues in that time with a flat battery when the car has been left for 1 day not started/driven. Changed back to a Nissan battery a month ago and all back to normal. Can leave the car for 2-3 days untouched no flat battery. Hehe, hope I haven't jinxed it.
  9. If it is the traction control kicking in, this can be minimised depending on what tyres you're running. Both with the Eagle F1 GS-D3's and the Yokohama V103's running on my Zed now, have to push the Zed incredibly on uneven or extremely wet road before the TCS with kick into life. Check your tyres, pressure, and what tyres are you running. When I had the stock Bridgestones on, TCS would light up alll the time.
  10. Welcome to the forum Lucy from another one of the Sprinkles.
  11. Lovey pics for sure!!! Better than being "butter". Welcome to the madhouse Rogan.
  12. Does it go something like this til Sunday?! Hehe, silly me, that'll be on the drive home.
  13. Lol, ya reckon the boys are superficial Vik?! Voted the same as you. so following the evolution process you ll soon have a 370Z!!! You missed a 280zx and a 300zx Z32 Mart.
  14. Nick, the Nissan I had before the Zed was a Sunburst Yellow 200sx (from new), it ended up having to have it's wing mirrors repainted as they faded terribly, even with constant coating of wax. The wax on the wing mirrors on the 200sx was waver thin as apposed other panels. Bite the bullet and get them repainted. They're only small shouldn't cost too much.
  15. Good that you've confirmed what the problem is.

    Blow out

Goodness Jay, talk about good timing. Did you replace both back tyres, or just the one as they've not been far? A similar thing happened to my Z a week before Xmas, stuff all stock of tyres in the country at the time, and got valve blew out on a back tyre, thankfully in a 50kms zone, only 150metres from home. Very lucky.
  17. Water a nutter cat. What was he thinking, won't get clean without any shower gel. Hehe, maybe he/she is part Turkish Van. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turkish_Van
  18. Lol, they'd be slow cyclists then, the pretend ones. Yipee, zooming down hills at 90kms +, cruising on flat at 50kms +.
  19. Aww, you take care of your poor wifey Biscuit. Poor thing. Was it the pink tail or the squealing that gave it away?!
  20. Absolutely stunningggg pics!!! Could almost be Kiwi countryside and sea if there were trees to the water.
