  3. thanks bronzee, that sounds good. will have to leave out the chilli for the time being but will give that one a go, should be tasty like the bbq reference aswell , will have to be grill here !! We still have the disposable Aldi grills but BBQ in the back garden under floodnight not cool Hehe, forgot to say, I haven't done this recipe on the bbq yet. But also mega yummy done in a plastic oven bag with all the marinade and meat, then the meat just falls off the bone when done.
  4. As Vik says. So they've identified the problem, ie they know what needs to be done to fix, the "identified problem". Good luck with further progress. Hopefully it will now be sorted.
  5. Ok, if you hold the DISP button (if you talking about the time on the Bose) down for a few seconds until it flashes, and use the arrow buttons to toggle the correct time. Then press the DISP button again to set the time.
  6. Lol, don't worry Trev. We have winter here too.
  7. What about Sticky Chilli Ribs? Can be done with steak or chicken too, as it's more a marinate than anything and you can leave the chilli out. 1kg pork ribs or steak or chicken 4 cloves of garlic finely sliced 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce 3/4 cup tomato puree 2 tbs tomato paste 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup cider vinegar 2tbs chilli sauce (or replace with something else) Salt & pepper freshly ground Spring onions. 1.You're supposed to cook the ribs (meat) in a large saucepan, cover with cold water & bring to the boil. Reduce the heat to simmer and cook for 30 minutes then drain. 2. Place the ribs in a large dish. Combine all ingredients except for the spring onions and pour over the ribs, turning to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for one hour, turning for 30 minutes. 3. Heat the bbq or pan to a high heat for 15 minutes, turning occassionally. Brush with extra marinade while cooking. Serve hot off the grill garnished with the spring onions. My version, put all the ingredients together in a bowl creating a marinade (you may want to quickly throw the spring onions in a pan to soften up first then throw them into the bowl), then throw diced or striped steak into the marinade for a good hour or so in the fridge. Throw it all into a reasonably warm pan so it doesn't burn the marinade and cook til done. Nice with rice or salads.
  8. Take her for a drive once you get a Zed. If she likes cars in the slightest, she'll probably enjoy the Zed. Only downside is you might have to fight for the keys then.
  9. Welcome to the forum. He chose a nice sounding exhaust. Sorry absolutely no help on pricing though.

  18. Thanks for all the comments. Lol, the blue one. I was tempted to ask the Scooby driver and friend if they wouldn't mind moving. Shall I send a bottle or two of good weather over?! Minus the clouds we had that day of course. Oooh, very cool thank you Mart!! Where are they heading to over here? Lol, it's a tough job, but someone has to live here. It's a lovely place to visit. Just make sure you bring a few memory cards for your camera, lots to see. These places are lovely, apart from all the other thousands of lovely places to visit: http://www.newzealand.com/travel/about- ... slands.cfm http://www.aatravel.co.nz/101/MustDo_Ho ... Beach.html
