  1. Aaaw, you knew you couldn't be parted.
  2. I'm presuming the UK owners manual is the same, as the NZ ones. On one of the pages it says don't put the heated seat button on if the seat is empty. An empty seat will heat up, if empty. Maybe your Z's seat is malfunctioning Bundus.
  3. Tools99 on the road you'll probably be fine. The only exception to the rule is on the track. If you chop a gear and it doesn't agree with the choice it will change to where it thinks you should be, especially in the lower gears, say at a hairpin. Tippy box seems to be fairly resilient. I've only seen maybe two posts across most of the forums I peruse that talks about a defunct box. But that could be neglect (given some people are meataxes) or it may very well have been a genuine problem.

    My Beauty!

Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.
  5. In case you do buy that one. The colour isn't EBURU.
  6. Nice one Jim. Rats, and I was starting to sing the song... Are you sure you're not blonde Zeddyrush?!
  7. Certainly don't envy you trying to sort this mess out now. Fingers crossed it isn't too much of a mission considering.
  8. Happy birthday Choptop!!! Partied hard?? And looks like birthday wishes are in order for Elninio too.
  9. Looked like fun. What was he worried about.
  10. Oops, video removed now. Poor Veyron, cruel owner.
  11. Welcome to the forum. The Batty is a cool colour.
  12. Welcome to the forum. Pop a post into your regional meets section, back on the main page.
  13. Welcome. Do you have an S14 or S15 currently??
  14. Lol, na, when I'm ready will be something better than that. They've been replaced with something else until then.
  15. Well folks, there's been a number of 350's brake caliper & pistons seizing in the UK & US in the last few months or so. And now my dear little very well cared for Zed. [] Things to look out for are uneven brake dust/more brake dust than usual, slightly sticky feeling brakes, noisier than usual brakes/subtle grinding. It causes quite heavy vibration throughout the car, with the vibration comes harmonics drumming. These are the worst seized caliper & pistons the guys that work on my car had seen on any vehicle & they work on all sorts (relative to the age of the car), including a lot of very high mileage vehicles. Completely cracked my fairly new pads. To sort the issue, requires new caliper kit, piston, new pads & brake fluid & opposite end to be inspected also. Rather an expensive fix, so get them checked out or replaced (if necessary) as preventative maintenance if your Zed has any of the listed symptoms. Not got pics of the piston as it had been cleaned for closer inspection by the time I'd gone to get my camera. The piston is also in a rather sad state. The worst caliper and piston were at more than double the heat of the others when we'd got back from testing. With a bit of smoke. Not good. This is more a cautionary than anything, if you notice any of these symptoms, either check it out, or get it checked out.
  16. Hi Yokomo!! Sulphur is an interesting smell!! Sulfur is horrible, and you can't get rid of the smell for a few days after being there. Lovely place though. Where do your relatives live in Auckland Yokomo?? You never know we could be neighbours, there's only just over a million of us. Don't mention the X or C words, Beavis will be here with his Ban button before you know it. Only 6 weeks now.
  17. Welcome to the forum. What colour & spec 370 are you thinking about?
  18. Oooh, congratZ!! Saturday isn't far away.
  19. Welcome to the forum Alex. Niffy Ford you have there.
  20. This actually did happen to some of our cars from new. Some micro fine holes, temperature does tend to exacerbate the problem. When you're filling it can cause the fuel to flick off many times or run at a ridiculous slow speed. It's just pressure in the tank that causes the psssttt noise. As you unscrew the lid, just do it slowly, thusly letting pressure off, instead of completely unscrewing the lid fast.

    Hankook V12s

Rubber is your only contact point with the road. Therefore always spend as much as you can afford on the best tyres. They will either help to save you, or be the end if you stuff up. Personally I wouldn't use Hankook's.
  22. What's the level of the power steering fluid looking like?
