  1. The tyres you're talking about here are more a "Summer" tyre, rather than all seasons so wouldn't expect them to cope with snow.
  2. If any interest or bearing on the matter, the later model 350's are also a bit heavier, than say a 2003 or 2004. It's something that other models look upon with envy at the 80's technology that they're missing out on. As with the large majority of jumpy cd players.
  3. I don't think it would be quite that much. I could be quite wrong. The Aussie dollar is slightly stronger the Kiwi. 370z depending on spec in NZ is about 72-75k something. So that's about 27k Pounds I think very roughly ish. Yes cars are more expensive down this end of the world. Especially European ones due to having to put them on a ship that much further. Your average say Toymota Corolla (25-30k) or Camry (30-40k depending on spec). Camry in similar range to say a Neeesan Maxima.
  4. Lovely work as usual Tim. That bimmer colour is rather nice.
  5. Shire if you're not driving your Z every day, given the rather white weather you're currently experiencing, what about a car cover for the poor thing.
  6. Watch out you naughty ones, another mod back on duty. All the best for 2010 Mike.
  7. Isn't it fascinating how the snow forms over the cars. R800NER's Z in particular, over the glass and different panels.
  8. Welcome. If you do buy a 350 take care, with the increase of hp.
  9. Very smart move! Worth it's weight in gold. A couple of the newbie owners over here in NZ, after me advising them to do so, steered them away from a few. Two in particular got perspective car AA tested, came up with faults that wouldn't be necessarily visually obvious. Another thing that has come up with two of the cars here, is rims looking tidy, not curbed, vibration on driving, proved to be buckled rims. Also the AA probably won't know about the windows dropping about 5mm when they open and close to release pressure inside the cabin. If the windows don't work thusly can be off track, or worn out window motors.
  10. Welcome to the forum, from across the other side of the pond again.
  11. That's just what I was thinking. If so, please take lots of care!!!

    Spec?

Welcome to the forum. Not sure if I should welcome you though, with your thoughts of butchering the proposed car. I would imagine that might damage the structural integrity of the shell of the car, turning it into a van of some description, even the hatch plays a part in the back state of structure. Also the large strut bar in the back plays a major part in the structural integrity and reducing torsional twisting. Practicality side, what could it perspectively cost to do some sort of conversion?? Wager possibly almost as much as any savings in insurance or road taxes.
  13. +1 And from now on I think you shall be known as Mary How's the manger?
  14. I've still not seen it, although want to. Quite a few of my friends have seen it twice, and say definitely see it in 3D. Lol, you guys are pillaged for Cinema. That's like $18-19 Kiwi ($15.50 for movies on a normal night here). We get charged another $3.00 - so say 1.50 Pounds more for 3D. It's all relative though, I'll get my coat.
  15. Happy birthday. So a good birthday then??
  16. Neat pics. Particularly like the 4th one with the reflections on the bonnet.
  17. Happy birthday Jerry. Love the little modified wheels and headlights.
  18. Should be pretty obvious once you get the wheel off. If no puncture, must have been the valve - would be difficult for them to contest. Faulty valve isn't your fault. Welcome to the forum, and good luck getting the wrinkles ironed out.
  19. Welcome to the forum. Happy Z hunting. Hope the one you're eyeing up working out.
  20. Welcome to the forum. Hope you have lots of fun driving the 370 baby when it arrives.
  21. Great to see you're not Lurking, hehe join date last year. Get yourself along to a few meets and immerse yourself in the Z culture, that might help swing your attachment to the Zed.
  22. Wrapped to see it's still in the club. Great to see another petrol head around. Nice choice of cars there. I'm sure Steve Millen (Stillen fame) would approve of the GT40 and of course the Zed.
  23. Definitely a very thoughtful gift. All the time and thought she put into that. Just think in a few years time looking back through that, it's the gift that will keep giving, all those memories from the trip.
  24. Love the shoes!!! Very nice! Love those shots in the sun, with the greeny hues playing up.
