A good old sheet of newspaper is handy to quickly pop on cleaned car carpets to keep dirty puts off. Can we have pics if you try that with perspective buyers of your house?!

Welcome to the forum Graham. Not much I can add to what the others have said. Things like tyres maybe a bit more. All down to driving style and how gentle or aggressive you are with the running gear. -

Jonty, you might be surprised. When you bust up your dominant side, you'll learn to be a south paw quite quickly. Just be careful when it's mended, with things like the hand brake. Ooooooo I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous Oh would you really?! Can be quite useful though in all seriousness.

And always angle arrival and departure from steep driveways or give them a miss all together.

I have a completely different brand of alarm to you, but had a very similar problem a few months back. It turned out to be a fuse failing on the alarm. Well I guess it's allowed to after 6 years of faithful service. So could be a good place to start.

It's quite interesting how different countries seem to end up with different names, when they all come from the same factory. Black Rose isn't a bad name, sounds almost pirate'ish.
