    Another NZ meet

Thanks all. Was a lovely day considering it's not Autumn here. Lol, give it another month or so and you lot won't be so jealous (relative NZ terms ) & well in July/August. ps. Elfman, we did quite well. We had a 240z, 260z, 280z, Z31, Z32, Z33, but no 280zx (this time) or the little 1967 roadster.
  2. Happy birthday to you, .............. enjoy!!! :kicking
  3. Lovely shine going on the sunset there. Hope the weather is good so it stays that way.
  4. Welcome to the forum. There's a few for sale on here currently.
  5. Shaun is the tail gate closed properly in those pics? Seems quite a gap between back and the tail gate, if that makes sense. Looks good otherwise.
  6. Snap! Just what I was thinking. I wonder how much they had to pay them to use a 370 for that.
  7. IMAX 3D 10 years ago was interesting, but seemed better in respect that you actually felt that the picture was immediately in front of you, as if you could actually reach from your seat. The 3D glasses were huge, almost like a big plastic hat that covered your head. Slightly off topic. Not seen Clash yet, looks a bit b-grade to me I'm afraid. The 3D effects in Avatar were quite well done.
  8. It weighs less, ie less petrol in the tank on the return trip.
  9. Cool pics. Love the Z burgers.
  10. Stunning pics you two. Captain, pleased to see you managed a few pics without the orange target.

    new car pics

Yummy Ultra Yellow, oops I meant Custard.
  12. What an improvement! Eek, that would have been a bit painful using the different pads for different panels.
  13. Welcome to the forum. And the one of the best bits they all forgot to mention, is being part of the Zed community.
  14. Welcome to the forum. She looks good. The nice stock Rays too.
  15. Welcome to the forum. Are you hunting for a Zed now, or storing knowledge for the right time?
  16. Tyres aren't designed to be constantly flexing outwards. So one would presume that you are therefore potentially going to wear out said tyres before their time, ie denting your pocket sooner. Also a few other things, do insurance companies come into play in the stretched scenario, ie, possibly compromising safety, so would it pass at a testing station-if something happened would insurance cover you?? (Not sure as our laws seem to be more strict in some aspects over here).
  17. Nice job. Even on a brand spanking new car, makes such a difference. Interesting quilted effect on the seat too.
  18. Welcome to the forum. Wonder if you'll end up with the Lexx replica?
  19. Cross those toes some more. Wasn't there another plume (this morning my time). So maybe you were asleep given time difference.
