  1. Murphy's Law, thou that are clean shall soon be........... umm oops, dirty. Poor Martin, at least you could wash it off straight away before it set, that would be so much worse. Target practice. Happened a while back driving along, stopped at traffic lights, heard a thud on the roof. No pedestrians around, so just drove on as there was nothing I could do. Got to point B to find the most humungous dollop covering most of the roof. Not enough cloths or detailing gear in that car to clean it off. Take some detailing with you Mart, just in case that seagull follows you.
  2. Aaw, that's disappointing. We were going to see this weekend. Might still have to see as both the stars are from this end of the world, one Kiwi even, even if he is claimed by them over the ditch.
  3. Shocking, look at all those stonechips up the door in the first pic. Nice work!!
  4. My car detailing collection is scary. Lots of boxes of the big bottles, which I decant to small 4oz bottles for ease of use, and also when I need them for shows or detailing other cars etc so they fit in the little plastic transporter boxes. Lovely plush microfibre cloths for Africa. I need help. Major OCD, having just vacuumed 3 of our cars, clean & detail time tomorrow ready for club run on Sunday.
  5. What an no posed pics of the new toy for us?! I want my money back.
  6. Noticed that. Often seems to be whilst you lot are still sleeping when I log on.
  7. Good luck Ian. Correct His mod list says he has the APS strut bar which sits further to the front of the engine but its not fitted in that pic "She's" only just got her car back after major work, so quite likely in that pic all the bits weren't fixed.
  8. Agreed. One of the guys here has just about every conceivable mod to his N/A, runs at about 85 more horseys than stock. Goes well. Apparently S/C or TT/T is cheating.
  9. If you are at all uncertain, would it not be wise to take it to someone you know and trust to have it checked over to ensure it hasn't been in a big ding.
  10. Mitch if he can't cope with the whole thing, then no loss. You have to take someone for what they are. More time for Should you be outside doing manly things like taking out the rubbish or chopping fire wood.
  11. Welcome to the forum, now the others have shattered your illusions. Happy Zed hunting.
  12. What a mess. Scary how you could hear the tyre go before he started swaying.
  13. Sorry no help, but how cool is your Mum taking on a car restoration, not something you hear every day.
  14. Just make sure you take them both out for regular drives, all will be well.
  15. Good to hear you secured the one you were after. If it's mechanically and structurally sound, tiny aesthetic things are nothing. Just little niggles that you can fix when you are ready.
  16. Starting to wonder if they're stockpiling 350's in Scotland. Hopefully the new owner to be joins up here and looks after it, so you can at least watch it's progress.
  17. I liked that one too, thought it was quite clever. I wonder if he'd like some invisable spark plugs for that invisable ute?!
  18. Stan all will be ok, as long as they drive Zeds. So in another 15-16 years or so, or maybe 12 at the rate of kids these days. So she won't be getting married until she's about 50.
  19. Just insure you have life insurance for her, just in case she's past the point of no return.
  20. Those 10 days will go fast enough. Then will be..............
  21. Fun drive with the new up-powerment? Looks like fun roads around there.
