  1. Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your quest to Zed ownership.
  2. Welcome to the forum Ryan. Happy Zed hunting.
  3. They quickly mentioned an oil spill in China on the news yesterday, apparently it's been going on for a couple of weeks. First we'd heard of it here.
  4. Now is that any way to treat a rental car?! Nice delamination going on there.
  5. You might need one of these to hide your eyes from all the delicious mods available from the traders on here, when you find the right Zeddy.
  6. Welcome to the forum James. You might also find that the Z is fairly low riding as well, even in stock form in comparison to most cars, so high rise carparks, speed bumps/sleeping policeman, steep driveways may still be quite a challenge. Good luck with your hunt for a Zed.
  7. Not long til your affair with Zedding arrives. Oh, and check into the 370 section on here and the others are bound to have lots of ideas to slightly dent your wallet.
  8. Welcome to the forum Roger. Stanski had a Midnight blue, not now though , and Greekman has a Midnight blue, plus a few others. Quite a rare colour though, as it was a 2007 colour only. Good luck with that. ps. If you look on the US forums at my350z.com, there is a massive selection for each of the different colours. Your colour is called San Marino Blue in the US and quite a few other countries.
  9. Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on the new baby. Far more sophisticated than having cf bits I hear.
  10. + 1. No point buying a component to fix, unless you know for sure what's causing the clicking. Good luck, less us know how you get along. You may find someone in your area may help, especially if you head along to your local meet.
  11. If it calms your mind somewhat, there is a thread on the US forums, for high mileage/100k miles + 350's. There are a number, plus there is the odd one that pops up over there that's done 200k + miles.
  12. And it's still only got 2 doors and it's RWD, so we might let you off in this instance. If you're lucky. Have fun in the Beamer.
  13. That's not mileage, but don't worry this lot will have you out to meets to rectify that mileage. Yes, that is a problem for garage queens. One of my friends over this end of the pond only has 6k (kilometres) on his 2003. So what's that in miles, only about 4k. And he always has to jump start, plus a few other niggles from sitting all the time.
  14. Wow, that will be worth the wait. So tell us now, what spec, colour, manual or tiptronic, is it a 40th Anniversary model, did you order? Stuff the early nights, log on here and figure out all the mods you might like to damage your wallet some more.
  15. No you don't or it's currently orangeness would get jealous. Loving this car, more and more! Look at all those bits. Love the Nismo harness too. Are they anymore comfortable that other 5 points? What's the 350 & Zed scene like in Aussie? Had a friend over in Sydney who said it wasn't that busy.
  16. Sounds like you need a car cover, not that will help too much for the flighted ones liquid visiting cards.
  17. Welcome to the forum Adam. I would say happy Zedding, but sounds like you already are, Mr 2k charity run. ps. Forgot to say are you enjoying the changeover from the the S15? S15's are quite a capable car, agile too, turn it on a dime in a heartbeat.
  18. Lol, they're only wallet hungry if you get the mod bug bad. I heard it's quite contagious. Welcome to the forum. Join in the Zed fun. You've already got somewhere to service the beasty, so that's half the battle.
  19. Not much distance from one end of the Isle to the other. You must be having fun. As the others say, it's pretty normal.
  20. Aaw quite a few love at first Z posts here. Bit different, as way back in 2004, I'd been looking at them & researching since 2003 (when the pre-orders arrived), test drove quite a few at dealers, all blue ones funnily enough, bar one gunmetal. One absolutely shocking black one with the orange leather, was in very ROUGH condition for the whole 5 months old it was. Poor very beaten up car, both the panels, the interior and shocking state of the engine bay. Anyway, it didn't deter me, and after a bit of back and forth, funny story, ordered my Touring spec, with premise to ordering the Track spec to go with it, all being well (had dramas with this one from new, so Track spec I dismissed idea of). After much mucking around, as they couldn't find a Le Mans Sunset with the charcoal leather, a week later they found one. Lol, ie, I guess they'd taken the charcoal seats out of another Sunset, to put in my one (as suggested by me as they're all brand spanking new, doesn't matter). So 6 years, 4 months later, Z and I still enjoy going out for a spin.
  21. One of the guys over here in the last year moved back over to the UK, taking his NZ new 350 35th Anniversary with him back to Pomland, have directed him to this thread.
  22. Some stunning cars there. Pity there weren't any Zeds there on display, whether they be old school or new school.
  23. Nice little flake shot there Stew. I like the colour for some reason, no idea why.
  24. Welcome to the forum. Get yourself along to a meet, then you can pick everyone's brains, and see the cars in person.
