  1. Yes they are disco'ing in the South Island in Canterbury/Christchurch, I'm in Auckland. So as safe as you can be when you live on "The Ring of Fire". Which bit did you enjoy the most in the South Is? Nice roadster by the way.
  2. I don't care what cars they are, just a lovely job as always Tim.
  3. Looks good. What do they look like at night time from a bit further away?
  4. Welcome to the forum. Should be a good stable mate for the 911.
  5. Welcome to the forum. Hopefully you'll get things sorted soon, with the help of the folk here. I've not seen the white/silvery stitching on a black leather 350 before (out of the factory), but there's a first for everything.
  6. Sparky, seems like you are dealing with things. And that's good. I don't know how the cancer wards operate over there, but I'm presuming it might be similar to here, we're you're all in a room in chairs or a ward with beds in, and they feed the concoction in. Anyway, it's an oddly supportive thing you are about to experience. Just about everyone we went through with, had something to focus on, and it helps and obviously so does support of family and friends. Mind over matter helps a great deal & helps to maintain a good mental attitude. Attitude is everything with this. Ultimately find something to focus on, and keep thinking about that, whether it be the Zeddy or something else, that you'd like to do or want in the future. Surely the Zed would still need some sort of insurance, even if it's not driven. It probably still needs to be driven around the block etc periodically so thing don't seize up.
  7. Learn to say 350z in Brazilian Nix.
  8. Of all of the Holden/HSV wheels, those are my favourite. Black is very stealth, but the silver is very smart and lightens up all the black.
  9. Oh, you'll be a happy camper then!!! You've got a year of lost time to make up for.
  10. Famous last words. Welcome to the madhouse.
  11. Welcome to the forum Jay. Happy motoring, looks like you've found a nice one.
  12. Lovely jobs as always Tim. Must be satisfying to see that Evo being fairly well looked after between your details.
  13. The exterior looks tidy. I'd give that seat leather a going over with a good quality leather cleaner and conditioner. It needs a bit of TLC & on a regular basis give it more food to keep the leather supple.
  14. Can you be a bit more precise please? Also what year is your car (yes I'm being lazy & not searching your first post)? The year of the car has a bearing due to suspension changes etc, etc.
  15. The question is, has she fallen for it though, or just tolerating as she quite likes the little mods and trinkets for the Sunset one?! Does look good. Hides the that dull texture that Nissan opted for the wing mirrors and that plastic cover on the B-pillar.
  16. Perhaps it should have been called the Ariel Weeapon. Tiny, but lethal.
  17. Poor Bundus is probably totally confused from all of this discussion now.
  18. Stunning tracks. Are they dedicated MTB tracks, or you strike the odd runner or walker?
  19. Is it not illegal in the Uk to mix tyres on an axle? We certainly aren't permitted to this end of the world, ticketable offence, pink sticker offence (remove from road until both tyres match on the axle).
  20. Oh, there you go!! Good luck with application Lexx!!!!! You'd love it down here. Given our proximity to Australia we have our fair share of HSV's and Clubsports. You name it, it is here. Look on the http://www.trademe.co.nz
  21. Hi folks, There's only one catch with this event, you'll have to jump on a airplane to NZ to enjoy a late Spring event in New Zealand, just south of the largest city (Auckland). This is an to definitely mark on your calendar!! You may have heard word on the ground that there is a massive Nissan event on the 20/21st of November 2010 in New Zealand. 20th at Hampton Downs (NZ's newest race track), and the 21st at Fram Autolite Meremere (drag strip). This is open to all Nissan/Datsun cars, including Nissan powered vehicles, not only Zeds, it will be all the Nissan clubs. We're expecting some extremely high horse power vehicles to be part of this event, to create an extra bit of excitement. Some of the drag cars running about 1800-2000hp. http://www.hamptondowns.com/ http://framautolitedragway.co.nz/ This will be a substantially large event as Nissan NZ is heavily involved & there will be media coverage, with all sorts of cool things going on, including the racing both days. We are expecting large numbers of cars & people from around the country & overseas, given the exposure & scale of the event. http://www.nizfest.co.nz Does this sound like an event you or any of your friends might be interested in participating in, making the trek down under to NZ to enjoy the stunning scenery & the event??? There will also be a display area for Nissan/Datsun that are not racing. There will be something to keep everyone amused, as the website is being updated as components of the event are confirmed. Feel free to ask questions about the event. Will direct anyone that needs help with accommodation to the best places to stay. Hope some of you can make it along. Cheers Bronzee Z Club of NZ (committee)
  22. Welcome to the forum. Happy Zed hunting. Main thing to be aware of, is cost of replacement parts and tyres etc as the others have mentioned. They're comparatively not bad.
  23. Welcome to the forum John. Congratulations to your and the lil' Mrs. Happy Zedding. More the better too.
