  1. Enjoying looking at the 350z-uk calendar January page, as it's the new year. Whose beasties are those in the pics? Guessing the Midnight blue roadster was Greekman's.
  2. Bit of spare time, so here's a few more pics from Nizfest. Bit late I know. Fastest car on the day at Hampton Downs racetrack. Even faster than Steve Millen's ballistic R35 and some of the other heavily tuned R35's. Robbie's drag car (sub 8 sec). Anyone that's into drag racing will probably know of Robbie. He's internationally known, and cars he's built go all over the globe. First time I'd seen a yellow 370 in the flesh. Looked very smart. Steve Millen's crazy R35. Camera was a bit slow to take pics of the drift cars. But here's one of the S15's that was putting on quite a show.
  3. Neat photos. That VS wing really give the rear a fat look.
  4. How does the song go.............. it's the final countdown.... Not long to you lot now.
  5. Less than 2 hours until 2011 here, given the time difference. Happy New Year all!! Take care, keep on being the cool Zedders you are.
  6. They certainly do. We have a 240z, 260z & Z32 running those colours here. All of them are pure race cars and go like rockets.
  7. Welcome to the forum. Happy Zed hunting. Keep an eye on the for sales here too. As at least you'll end up with a car with a bit of known history.
  8. Thought might be interesting for some of the newbie Zed owners to see a bit of Z history.
  9. Now that looks like fun!!!! :kicking
  10. Each to their own. For me FWD is ok for a runabout, well just about. You can still push FWD, but RWD you can really drive the thing without torque steer. Surprised a few of my mates that aren't used to being a passenger in a RWD. Ultimately Rich, it doesn't matter what any of us think, as it's you that has to be happy with what you purchase. Drive as many cars as you can, then make your decision.
  11. Still rolling on nasty nankangs seeing as they still have tread. I have the money put aside for a set of Falkens but I don't want to get rid of relatively new tyres, regardless of how slippery they are. I'm used to them now anyway. The way I see it, when I get new ones it will be such a shock how much more grip there is it'll feel like a totally new car again You are brave staying with the Nankangs, especially in the current slightly white conditions. Get better shoes on, and flick the others on fleaby or something.
  12. Listening to the news here and internationally, they're blaming the current Northern freeze for the price hikes. Apparently we are all stupid.
  13. When you stand by a Juke in person, they're very high off the ground, like a small 4x4, so even with backing camera, can't imagine they'd be the easiest of things to parallel park, if that's of concern.
  14. So Sally had the last bite, ooops ...... meant word. She looked very happy in her basket.
  15. Did you get tea and cake to go with that biscuit?! Many happy returns Biscuit Boy.
  16. Was posted on our forum in Kiwiland. Quite interesting. Most Zedheads will know most of the history, but still interesting to see again. http://www.nissan-motorsports.com/ENN/N ... index.html
  17. One of the guys from the club here is currently living in Bahrain, from his latest email: "I am leasing a Nissan V8 4x4 as drivers are nuts and gas here is cheapest in world about $10-00NZ to fill up." Hands up, who just fell off their seats. Prices in NZ have gone up very quickly over the last month. We're up to NZ$1.99 a litre for rubbish 91octane, and about $2.18 a litre for 98octane, so nearly at the record price 2 years ago of $2.40 a litre for 98. Bearing in mind about 3/4 of the cost is actually tax, so the government do nothing to regulate for obvious reasons. BP here are almost always the first to lead the price hikes.
  18. Fingers crossed it's found undamaged. Unrealistic, but he can only hope. One of the downsides to having something nice, is dishonest whatsits.
  19. Love the first two pics for different reasons. Hope you've got some shoe shoes on the beasty.
  20. Welcome to the forum Kev. They call 350's ticket collectors for a reason. Looks like you found out why fast. Boom, boom.
  21. Good to see the beaten ones you drove a few months back didn't put you off. Happy Zedding.
  22. Welcome to the forum. Nice mirror finish there.
  23. What a well trained family. Will you get detailing cloths for Xmas?
