  1. Arf, arf, arf, arf, arf, arf. Happy Birthday Pup.
  2. Lol, ok. If they're the RE040's you're best advised to be a bit cautious in the rain, but they're ok, if not a bit on the noisy side. Better than other tyres and certainly better than Nankangs and the like, imo. They're not a cheap tyre to replace, just so you know. But come to time when you need new tyres, up to you what you try. Anyway, let us know how you get on.
  3. So will have the Pirelli's all round now? That should improve things a lot. Let us know how you get on, when you get the car back.
  4. Welcome to the forum Craig. Happy Zed hunting. Take a few for a spin.
  5. Was on here a few weeks back too. Cut in quite a few bits.
  6. Welcome to the forum. Bit greedy having two Zeds. We love it. Pics of both please, so we can follow progress of both.

    EBC Redstuff

As a pad they do the job they're designed for, they are good (I'm referring to the M1166). Could be a bit better IMO. They're also quite a mucky pad in terms of brake dust, so if you're not viligant with keeping rims clean they will make a mess. Price wise they're ok. EBC Yellow seem to stand up to a reasonable pounding, and they're not a messy pad, less that a stock brake pad in terms of dust. All depends what you want to spend and what sort of performance you're after and if you're tracking/rallying or driving reasonably hard or not. http://www.ebcbrakes.com/automotive/yel ... 4000.shtml Ferodo's are good all round pad, street/track. My pick of these are the Ferodo's Mark. Based on the one's you guys have referred to that I have used or driven other friends 350's on.

    DB9

Well spotted ......... I assume you're talking about the bit between the exhausts it was only a wash and brush up Ya. Keen detailers eye. Does look good though.
  9. You'll get good at finding the widest carparks you can. And always find and end spot if you can, gives you a bit more space. Doesn't mean you won't end up with some muppet parked beside you though, but you can only try. Go enjoy the car. Certainly looks like frost. In the US, the frost mostly came out with the Pikes Peak White, with the odd exception.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Let us know if you do end up with that Z.
  11. Congratulations. Enjoy that Sunset!!!
  12. Over this end of the pond, quite a few of the large tyre suppliers fix punctures for free (if you purchased the tyres from them), and if there's any sort of manufacturing failure they'll replace them. Not quite the same as you're talking about I guess.
  13. What a way to spend a day, working on Zeds.
  14. Don't worry about the boys, they need to step outside the house more often. Not enough Sprinkles here.
  15. You haven't accidentally hit the window lock button afterwards? Plenty here have done it.

    DB9

You missed a bit. Not bad for a DB9, I guess.
  17. Seems like a horrible way to spend a birthday for a car fanatic. I mean, forced to have to see all that metal. Hope you had a great day Mike.
  18. Dave you sure, it's not a small lion in disguise! Aaw, thing.
  19. Specs look good. Front view and back look ok. But that side profile looks very bubly at the back.
  20. I'm sure camskill will be cheaper What sort of tyres? Surely even P Zero's wouldn't be that much. I know what they sell for this side of the pond.
  21. Perhaps one of the kind souls that's had their car for a few years or so might take your car for a drive. Or take it to someone worthy. If you feel these things are not right don't accept it. Don't back down. Having those tyres only inflated to 28psi, is idiocy. You know there are valet keys available that restrict the revs, not cheap, but very useful so that type of thing doesn't happen.
  22. Welcome to the forum Anthony. Once you take one or two for a drive, you'll find they're a step up from your Leon. They have quite linear delivery too, so easy to do a tad more than you think you are if you're not paying attention.
  23. Welcome to the nuthouse. Looks like you've found yourself a fairly unique combo with the white leather. They must be a custom job?
