  1. Boat detailing is very hard work. I haven't done any myself, but a good friend of mine in the US with a detailing business does quite a few. Not his favourite thing to detail. Large proportions.
  2. They go faster when they're clean. Looks good.
  3. Those contour intervals give a much better idea than the pic does. Nice bit of hill to climb.
  4. A completely random pic, just when you thought you were sane, oops, that was meant to be Kiwi's aren't sane.
  5. Looks good. A wee trick, if you want to see how clean (contaminent free) your paint is, even after detailing is use a very, very thin plastic bag, put hand in bag, and gently run fingertips over paint. If there are any baked on nasties, you will feel them, even if you can't with your bare hand.
  6. Did they ask what you'd done with their car?? Having left this shiny one in it's place.
  7. How many metres or feet are those pics taken at Andrew?
  8. At least you don't have to worry about the paint getting hot. That's coz NZ rocks! Just hope you managed to squeeze in some of the things I recommended for you guys to go and see. Been out playing in the trees all day enjoying the stunning scenery. Oh and job sites, www.trademe.co.nz (has a pretty good job section). Didn't take any pics yesterday, but will wax the baby Z this week, and take a few pics at one of the many local beaches. Yeah, to be fair, it's pretty good year round. Apart from maybe middle of winter at 6am, when it's 5 or 7 degrees. Lol, but when washing process gloves help. Summer is hard as it's too hot for detailing really without seriously melting.
  9. Perfect day for it Andrew. Hey Ash, make sure that repair kits, got a couple of levers in it.
  10. Just love this time of the year for car detailing and washing. Had to say car, as I've not only done the Z tonight. (Sorry no pics, as it was just about dark when I finished. Looks shiny as normal though.). Temperature is probably going down to 10 degrees tonight, and it's been about 25 degrees today, but with thankfully without the normal extremely high humidity. And I say this time of year, ie early Autumn or early Spring, either end, when it's not freezing, no wind, in the shade with long shadows. You guys and girls must be enjoying being able to get outside and clean your Z babies without freezing!?
  11. They're a bit more a lump that the little pocket rocket you had, but still a fun drive. Enjoy!

  13. Almost,.......... wrong side of the pond.
  14. What a rocky start to ownership. Hope that means the rest will be smooth sailing once things are sorted.
  15. Welcome to the forum. So what was your first Zed, one of the older versions, 300 or older or another 350?
