  1. Welcome to the forum. Good luck with your quest.
  2. Some nice toys in that Aston garage! Busy, busy Tim.
  3. That's a nice looking brush Tim. Nice job as always. Did a rally in horrible weather and through rural areas on Saturday night, that's what my car looked like upon arriving home. Not the next morning though, up early to rectify to normal lovely shine all over and under.
  4. So are Aston's, Jag's and the like. Come winter time, presuming you get one with leather seats (rather heavy seats), those seats warmers are fabulous! And an aluminium rear sub frame, plus a few other bits, apart from the lump in the engine bay. And watch your handling go to the wall. Rear strut brace is there for a reason, same as the one on the engine bay. The black plastic is only a cover, the brace beneath it doesn't look so hefty with the cover off. But rather ugly.
  5. Nicely done. Start part is always the worst. Have you two done other swims like that?
  6. What a sense of humour, but not far off the base.
  7. Welcome to the forum. Presuming your Z, is of the Sunset variety?
  8. Would I do a thing like that?! Wow, what an interesting choice of turbo. Given how hard a truck or bus has to work, all day every day! Watching with interest.
  9. Welcome to the forum Tony. Good luck with your quest for 350 ownership. And no wonder you only clocked up 800miles, living on the IOW. Lovely part of the UK.
  10. Good array of Zeds there. Thank you for sharing.
  11. Fingers crossed for you that she can be repaired without any drama.
  12. Agreed. And knowing how difficult it can be to get parts and body panels for them now, stick with stock, as at least you stand a chance of replacing components. Especially if tracking the 260, if it sustains the odd knock. Best to be realistic. She's got a lot of potential.
  13. Looks fantastic with the Z34 rims on. Even better to see it fanging around the race track!
  14. The first step to admitting you have a problem, is joining up here, ................ second step............ oh, no, bet you've already been trawling the autotrader etc.
  15. Happy birthday Tim!!! Have a brilliant day! Hope someone cleans your car for you today.
  16. Curious as to what they're made out of? Plastic?
  17. Enjoy the new toy. You do realise we were all quite sane before purchasing our Z's.
  18. Over here, there are a lot of keen cyclists/triathelete's. And some good points made above. Thing I don't seem to see happening so much now, is we always, especially in big pack or group of 3 or more, always yelled out instructions to the rest of the group, about cars from behind or in front, or oncoming, potholes (hand signals), which elleviated any kamakazi's amongst the group. Grouped them in, to keep them under control. We have the same issues, with absolute nutter temporary citizens, of both 2 and 4 wheels - everyone just needs to be more tolerant of others around.

    Test drive

All relative though, if you need two extra seats.
  20. Most cars are better when you don't have to pay for the upkeep and running expenses. Enjoy the Qashai.
