  1. We try not to think about depreciation, but it's all good for 2nd or 3rd owners like yourself.
  2. Don't forget you catch more with honey than you do vinegar. Can understand why you're angry, but if they're being good about it and fixing the issues, at least that's something.

There's over 4 million of us now. Did have a hunt for link, but it could be a very new thing, first time I've seen it mentioned before.
  4. What a neat track, with those nicely banked corners. Dunno, about those boardwalk/ride things, looks a bit precarious if you arrive at speed onto the ramp.
  5. Ultimately you can have fun driving most vehicles, even a small truck/ute/utility vehicle (whatever you want to call it). Even a little go kart like a Swift or a Micra can be fun, although obviously they don't have the torque or hp. Do what is right for you, sounds like you already know, you're just thinking out loud.
  6. Lol, where to start.................... 7. Red gamblers!!! 8. Lack of merging skills. 9. Lack of indicators usage, or completely incorrect use. 10. People who check what's coming whilst waiting at an intersection behind you - number one cause of nose to tails. 11. Weaving in and out of traffic in a dangerous manner. 12. Rubber neckers - another reason for unnecessary accidents. 13. Lack of use of headlights when legally required - ie dusk and dawn or bad light conditions - torrential downpours or fog. 14. On the motorway or dual carriage way, people that come in stupidly close as they pass to check out whatever car I'm driving that day. 15. Poorly maintained cars, especially those that have stinky exhaust fumes/blowing smoke (illegal) due to lack of being serviced. 16. Hit & runners (more substantial damage) or others that damage your car or cause door dings in car parks. 17. Basic bad driving skills. 18. In attention to the job at hand... driving, not reading the paper, playing with sat nav, doing your hair, shaving, putting on lippy, eating etc, etc, etc. 19. People that drive gutless cars, that insist on driving in the fast lane doing 70/80/90kms on dry road conditions and won't move a lane to let others past. 20. People on a single carriage road, maybe 100km area that sit at 70/80kms for no good reason, in ideal road conditions, then before the passing lane they speed up to ensure you can't get past without exceeding the speed limit, then slow back down to 70/80km immediately after the passing lane. 21. People that cut corners on a blind corner, often at speed. There are lots more, but that will do for starters.
  7. Needs different wheels. Spokes look a bit skinny to the balance of the car.
  8. Shows how valuable skid plates are. The fun or not so fun part is being in a car when the skid plate makes contact.
  9. That's a nice smooth curve. Sounds a wise move to keep the hp down, no point chasing way more if it all ends in massive expense to fix. So many make that mistake. Happy shakedown.
  10. Bouncing off the walls with excitement?! We all remember that feeling, the first drive or drive home.
  11. Can't imagine why you'd be excited. Not like he has incredible car control or anything. Goes without saying we expect vids and photos. Oh, and 470 horses at the shoes is nothing to be sneezed at. You must be wrapped with the dyno result. Are you pleased with how it's handling?
  12. Did you sign your letter in triplicate to ask the forum permission to sell the one with the nice bright headlights?!
  13. I've still got my original stock bonnet, extremely light being aluminium, weight, not 100% sure maybe 3kgs? It's a bit difficult to rest it on scales being the shape it is.

I couldn't find a link and the ad in the newspaper is black and white and not very good quality to start with, so wouldn't translate well to being scanned. Different kit to the one in the link above, and a little emblem thing below the wing indicator. Anyway, I wonder if this option will be offered over there? Or maybe just here given Steve Millen is a Kiwi and has a close alliance with one of the dealerships in Auckland. If I see one in person I will definitely take a photo.

Similar but not the same. Will see if I can have a nose around some more tomorrow and find an article. First I've seen this model SMZ (Steve Millen Z) advertised here.
  16. Welcome to the forum. Good luck getting the niggles sorted. Perhaps one of the mods can split this post off into it's own newbie thread.
  17. Gosh, low mileage, but with being in storage for 4 years, bonus for you. Welcome.
  18. Nice of you to drop by. Did you take any before and after pics?

An advert in today's major newspaper over this end of the pond, about the Stillen 370. NZ 83k basically, Stillen Stainless-Steel Exhaust, Stillen Induction, 20 TSW Interlargos Alloys, H&R Suspension, special graphics below wing emblem (possibly elsewhere but that's all I can see in the pic), Steve Millen autographed and a performance driver training session with Steve Millen. Sorry no pictures as it was an advert, and doesn't seem to be on Nissan NZ's website.
  20. Lol, that got me too for a second (with no manual in the car), the first time I drove a 370 and had to go an put some fuel in tank. Looked for the button, then thought to myself, lets see if there's a release on the flap. Much to the amusement of my co-pilot as we were heading off to do a rally.
  21. That chap sounds like he's threatened by you. It's his problem, even if he's making your life awkward. Good luck with the CV.
  22. If it's the stock very pale coloured leather, it's called "frost".
  23. That might change now you're on here. Welcome to Zedding.
