  1. Could some of this info be transferred to the How To's?
  2. Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy the drive home this weekend.
  3. Welcome to the forum and congratulations!
  4. They look so pretty all detailed.
  5. Also make sure the space saver is properly bolted down, as they can produce a bit of squeak if not thoroughly secured.
  6. So much for the fairer sex being the weak ones.
  7. I purchased a brand spanking new S15 back in 2000, they were over NZ$60K then. Even now, they're very sort after, even though there's plenty over here, go for about 10-15k for a tidy one. They're cool cars too. Wish I'd kept my one.
  8. Welcome to the forum. You're Z's colour is also referred to San Marino Blue in other countries.
  9. You can use a small sponge to clean the back of the spokes, taking care not to touch the front side of the wheels. Works well and will help keep rims cleaner longer.
  10. Nice pic. Colour please, not that it makes much difference.
  11. Well it was chaos at the parade, but we still managed to go and see the Targa cars (in true car person importance on the list ). A see of people washed towards us after the parade. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/rugby-world-c ... d=10761378
  12. Best way to completely clean the wheels. Looks so nice when they've been freshly and thoroughly cleaned and waxed. I use pre-wax cleaner and swirl remover on mine before I wax them. Even running very agressive brake pads, the water will bead off the rims after each wash for many months afterwards. Ahem. It tis'inst.
  13. Poor little desperately needs a bath. Yes they are. Very nice they are too for stock wheels. And in the US they had even more options including some chrome style ones.
  14. Steve's car at Hampton Downs again for Nissan show last year. And at Targa 2010, he's too quick to catch him in action on the track.
  15. Geepers BM your knees must have been right up against the dash.
  16. Certainly an amazing amount of work and money gone into that engine bay. Is the rest of the car similar in terms of attention to detail?
  17. Missed kicks, plus a few other things. Being such a close match made it interesting watching. There's a victory parade up Queen Street (main street in Auckland - biggest city) this afternoon at 2.30pm. Chaos it will be.
  18. Will be a lot of sleep deprived ones too.
  19. Wasn't it just!!! Was at a mates place watching the match. Lol, some of the friends couldn't watch and kept going out of the room. Eerily quiet in the neighbourhood this morning. Will be absolutely manic in town today again. Which means will be almost impossible to go into the Viaduct and see the Targa cars. Close, but at least we won. Missed kicks etc.
  20. That poor Z will be feeling unloved if you don't drive it some more. Welcome to nuthouse.
  21. They're just like most apartments. Just a useful location if you're into motorsport and spend a bit of time at the track. Yes, the very same. Steve is actually a Kiwi, born and breed, but lived in US for a long time. Steve comes over here a few times a year, so we do our best to align events with him being in NZ. He's here for Targa NZ (major rally) which starts tomorrow/Tuesday. Racing in his modified R35 again this year. Yup, heard about this event... Steve Millen aka 'Stillen' started his career as a race car driver in New Zealand As for the odd picture out... Was it a BMW badge on a 240z ? Bingo. You're right. Lol, I gave the owner of the white 280 race car a really hard time about the badge. He's had that one about 20 years. Lost the bonnet badge, and it was raining so had to quickly find another one that fitted.
