Have a good read around on the forum. Stacks of info about the different models. Each have their merit. The 2003/2004 are the lightest, have more torque, but less bhp. Whilst the newer 2005 (depending which end of 2005) on, have less torque and more bhp, and more weight. Incrementally so for years after that. Happy reading.

Slightly off topic, wonder if the 370 headlights will do what 350 headlights do, with the hazing? Given some of the 370's are going on 3 years old now.

Keep and eye out on here, as one of the others have said. They tend to be better looked after, rather than just being a totally thrashed, abused daily hack.

+1 on that. Can make a big difference. For instance the RE040's are noisy, to me the RE050's are only marginally better noise wise.

Welcome to the forum. The older 2003 early 2004 models are a much firmer ride than the newer models, from 2005 up noticeable difference. Depends what you're after.

Main thing is take it easy, do not press, gently glide over the paint. Go one direct with the sweeps, do not go in circles, only use clean detailing cloth and mitts.

There are probably many that join, as with most forums, that join a forum, see what costs are involved and walk away deciding it's not viable.

Friction, sometimes doesn't matter that the skin isn't directly exposed. At least you're basically ok.
