  1. One of my friends over here, about 4-5 years ago when he purchased his import 350 it didn't have a rear spoiler or wing. This is a TT'd, caged race car which flies like the wind. After a few chats, he ended up putting on quite a big wing, his Z is definitely more grounded than it was before. Can't be bothered trawling through photobucket right now, but will find a pic if you really want one.
  2. Window rubber? They definitely perish with age. Seem it on a lot of 350's over here.
  3. I should have taken more photos. It's always a drool-a-thon, so many gorgeous cars. So you just have to imagine them.
  4. Welcome to the forum and happy 370 hunting.
  5. Welcome. Must still be pristine, with low mileage like that.
  6. Not many people can say they've camped on the middle of a frozen tarn. At least you're making the most of the current conditions rather than hiding from them.
  7. Thank you for sharing. Some awesome pics there. Few brown trouser moments for some of the drivers too.
  8. No, not at this show. My Z is too new, would incur far too many age penalty points for a start to be competitive. Cars must be more than immaculate, and almost surgical clean and have often had extremely costly restorations. I didn't take many pics at all at Concours, was such a busy day. A few of our guys made a standing and operating S30 engine as you'll see in the vids as part of our display. Here are a few: Lovely Riley: Inner Circle where the judging is done for Team's Event & the Masters Class: Some videos: If it makes you all feel better, was an average weather weekend for Concours, both days. Saturday, rained in the morning, and was overcast. Sunday whilst setting up our display we had a tropical type deluge, massive black clouds. Haha, one of the guys had his windows down (no Z was harmed, was his daily driver), we were standing under the awning, water absolutely pouring in the window from the broken guttering. Keys in ignition, drivers window up. Then stopped raining sort of, round to other side, window was down passengers side too. Guess who had a wet drive home. It rained for a large part of the day, so that chased away some of the Masters Class and Team Event cars.
  9. Today was the Concours d' Elegance Fun Run/Rally. It's probably the easiest rally ever, but still very pleasant day out, with lovely roads. This year was slightly different, all starting at different points, 5 to be exact, and ending in a park/village green beside the waterfront. About 250 cars, you name it, it was probably there, and tomorrow at the Concours show, will be full on, detailing oblivion, Masters Class! These cars will be incredibly clean, often quite rare. So here's a few pics from the Fun Run today: Interesting 3 front seats, which is a little difficult to see in this pic. Recognise this one, not sure why. Lol! Ran out of disk space, so that's it. Will take more pics tomorrow at the Concours Show. Kiwi Z Club has a display, along with about 80 other clubs, and about 700 cars. Massive variety.
  10. Welcome and congrats. Great to see one stay here, and she looks very tidy.
  11. Nice work!!! Enjoy,......... when the weather is better.
  12. Freaky. Takes a second for the eye to focus on the ear.
  13. Yeah it goes on for quite a stretch too. They used to be drag races up there on a Friday night a few years back police put a stop to that tho Fair enough on their part. That's what drag strips and race tracks are for.
  14. Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the drive home.
  15. I know new folks can always search, but given the slightly white conditions in your part of the world at the moment, would it be helpful to have a sticky? Just an idea.
  16. Welcome to the forum. Enjoy the changeover to RWD when you find one.
  17. Welcome to the forum. That's quite low mileage. Nice find.
  18. Welcome. The two brightest colours would the yellow 2005 and the Chewits (as they call it on here) 2007 only orange (Solar Orange is most countries bar the UK), quite bright and lolly I guess (quite rare). Much brighter than the Sunset (orange) which has more a hint of goldy/brown to it. Ultimately, it really depends what spec you are looking for, colour is somewhat subjective.
