  1. One of our cars has pale'ish carpet and full cream leather. If you plan to wear dark coloured clothing or dark jeans, I'd be very weary as it will mark very easily, even if it's extremely good quality leather. Visually all the cream looks very plush. Paler coloured carpets are a bit of a 'mare to keep clean, unless you have a separate pair of shoes just for being in the car.
  2. Welcome to the forum, and I hope you both enjoy that Sunset.
  3. Welcome to the forum. Happy SunZedding.
  4. 350z is a heavy'ish beast, but they still go well on the track.
  5. Nice slick top there. That would be worth some reasonable money if it were over here. Most over here at t tops.
  6. 3 here. The one pictured in NZ new, the other two I'm not sure about.
  7. Cool pics. Like the last one particularly.
  8. Colour, was an original colour, and bearing in mind these are cars of the 1970's. Wonder what they'll think of our colour choices in 40 years time, if ours are still around. Pristine examples, especially with such low mileage will definitely be worth something in the future. Japanese collectors hunt them down.
  9. It goes very quickly around the track too. Caged beasty that it is. We only a small display this year as two other major shows elsewhere, so only 2 x Z31's. You might not be able to see in the pics, the earlier and later model, slightly more rounded off edges. Certainly were. I should have taken hundreds more pics. There were 3 other areas as well, about 700 cars. Haha, and yes, a few were very inventive Toby. Bit of Kiwi ingenuity. Lol, don't be fooled by the sunshine, not been quite our usual summer here. When I jumped in the Zed thinking to myself, gee it's nippy this morning, was only 11 degrees. Brrrrr for summer morning. There is certainly variety. The guy that builds these Mini creations, is quite well known. Drives around in a widebody, stretched Mini. First time I saw him in that one, did a double take. Known as a Fairlady Roadster here, so yes. This one is a 1966. Think I've posted pics of it in the past doing the grass gymkhana.
  10. Popped this in here, as there's lots of non-Z pics here too. Galaxy of Cars show today, another big show. A bit down on numbers this year as there were two other major car events elsewhere. A few pics from today: Very early on, just after 7am, the sun is still thinking about rising behind the trees: Best in Show, amazing Packard. Exceptional eye for detail: Maybe the original shopping trolley, cute and tiny Austin: What an imagination, a man with a Mini Obsession: Mini Mac: As expected, the Mini Club never disappoints, fab display, a few of the cars: Stereo on wheels, literally!! Gorgeous Paint! Z Display & we also had an honourable mention for our display: From above:
  11. So you'd miss out on the soothing effect that having a pet is supposed to provide.
  12. If we'd had Zedley soon, then maybe he could have made a trip over this side of the pond and enjoyed all the summer shows and track events and grass gymkhana, a holiday weekend at a beach resort - all path of the course over here in Z Land. Bit late now though, and he'd be on route for 4 days each way, so someone looses out. Maybe over your winter again late this year?
  13. Surely by buying into the discounted fuel, you're buying into the artificially inflated price of petrol. Just think if they didn't inflate it to cover the discount, every single thing you buy would be cheaper.
  14. Have you had your letter from the Queen yet???!!!
  15. Not at all for me at least. I've always found the use of the search function answers my questions. Then again I've been admin/mod on a different kind of forum for over 8 years now so having a look around for answers is built in I guess. Some people are good at lurking.
  16. Better tyres. Then you can throw the car around a lot more.
  17. Very stealthy looking beasty.
  18. Or an extremely sad crank position sensor, as they normally only do that once in a while. Why don't you do pedal dance, and see what fault code/s come up?
  19. Nice looking Pumpkin you've found.
