Acer - Acer's are an awful brand - steer clear!

I cant get as good deals on the model that comes with DVD. Most of my customers have bought without the DVD as it adds to weight and is a drain on power - for media they use flash sticks etc

Dell Mini's are great - I have sold loads of these - remember though, there is no optical drive If you have the budget - look at the HP Elitebook 2530p - probably the best sub portable on the market - I can get these about £300 off the retail price

I think the key thing here is to check his feedback score If he has sold many items and has a high feedback, he will want to protect that, so even if things go wrong, he should offer an ammicable solution PayPal is good for protection, but be prepared that if things go wrong arbitration can take upto 3 months, and as much as 4 months to get your money back
