HDR is High Dynamic Range processing... Basically you take 3 shots at the same time, 1 under exposed, i correct exposure and 1 over exposed. Couple of stops between each. The you combine them in Photoshop and then run them through a post processor like photomatrix and adjust to suit.. Some more here... http://www.blogwatts.com/inspiration/9- ... ar-photos/ Some people like the effect, others dont!

Kid attempts to talk about his twin turbo 370z

Quite funny spoof... got bored after 2 mins though! -
They dont make them like the good old B-17 Says Mephis Belle on the side but i actually think this is SallyB Yeh it is that. Prefered the vulcan myself, amazing noise!! The only problem with them if a fuse blew you had to bail out! Where on the B-17 you could still limp back to England with half the crew injured, big holes in the wing, rudder shot off, and 2 dead engines!! Yeh true, amazing bit of kit. And those that flew them were pretty handy in those situations!... Could you imagine bailing out of a vulcan though...

Yep probably! But black or chrome would be better! You not got a fixings store near you? Got one just down the road and they have loads of stuff... as mine is off the car I can take one down and see what they have... Wont be till the weekend though

I've got a 02 plate import so it rempas itself to a certain degree i believe....? But no aftermarket remap no..... Nope, it dosnt remap, its just got differences between wide and narrow band. Still wont adapt properly for the cats, putting them back in will have just caused the ECU to relearn to its normal setting. You will probably find you were running really rich. If you put them back in, get it mapped and you will see a huge difference with the decats I said this when I first joined. decats will work if its remapped to. Everyone is like no with back pressure and what not. Yes you do need back pressure on a na but if you look inside a cat you see why it is so restrictive. I even bought sports cats I could have put that money to a remap. Ahh well. I think there are a few people that would argue with you about back pressure.... The issue in the ECU and environmental controls. N/A cars utilise exhaust velocity (not backpressure) in the collector to aid in scavenging other cylinders during the blowdown process. It just so happens that to get the appropriate velocity, you have to squeeze down the diameter of the discharge of the collector (aka the exhaust), which also induces backpressure. The backpressure is an undesirable byproduct of the desire to have a certain degree of exhaust velocity. Go too big, and you lose velocity and its associated beneficial scavenging effect. Too small and the backpressure skyrockets, more than offsetting any gain made by scavenging. There is a happy medium here.

If it wasnt so cold I would go to the garage and measure the ones that came off the TB spacer I took off on Saturday... but it is cold and I cant be arsed! Guessing though if you take the size of the bolts that alex just added and then add the thickness of the spacer your pretty much there!! But you thought of that didnt you!!! You just need the pitch and diameter now! Will look tomorrow if you dont get the answers tonight!

I did mean me!!! Can belive I have 2 stressful hobbies... Car Modding and Photography!!! How is photography stressful?? I love photography, mostly of wildlife and aeroplanes (harry potter plane spotter ) I find it really relaxing! Unless you shoot in Auto all the time and you know your apature / speed set ups etc etc then it can be stressful as you dont often get a 2nd chance at a shot. I must admit it has got easier with a few helpful hints and tips... As your a plane spotter..

Having had the 370z out on track, it should not supprise you that much given it was against an 03 350z The jump to me from my Zed to a 370z in terms of performance and handling is quite significant, although I am on stock suspension and sways etc which you arent any more. A stock 370z is way better than a stock 350z. Stock 370z vs modified 350z, not such a big gap Yeh got to agree there. Unfortunatly it wasnt like for like, 370z's i have driven have all been left hookers and also Autos. I will get a manual with the wheel on the correct side on the track soon!! It was also tainted by driving the gt-r about 20 mins later so my comparissons and thoughts were just thrown completly out of the water!! It did feel a solid, sure footed car though on the track and did feel like it had more power in other areas. Didnt have my 350z stock for long enough to really test the differences but I know I am happy with the way it is.. just hoping the 370z is as good when I get near one! Or I will be spending more cash!!

Not really thought about it.......but i have really been turned off the whole carbon wrapping scene. Its either paint or the real deal for me. At at this moment in time i really do think a grey bonnet will suit my car alot more than a carbon one Agree GM would be better than white! Think you need something with vents in it considering you will have increased heat in the bay There was a template somewhere i remember seeing from someone that put his own vents in there factory bonnet...... You mean this one Got the template somewhere

Whats the bog roll for Your secrets out dude Might work nights.... Think there is some sort of lube in the green bottle too!!!

yeh it did, 1.4 secs quicker. Out of interest was the one they put on the track the import back in 2002? Shame it wasnt a UK car. Also 370z is 4.5 secs quicker which was a UK car. Big jump!!

I lost track of Falkens when I went to Toyos...are they still on the FK452? Did yours hold up ok? I've heard nothing but good reviews about the Vredstein Ultracs, I think they may be my next tyre to try out. Yeh hold up just fine mate, Toe, camber etc are all set up fine too so that helps havnt tried the vred's but seems like they had good reviews...
