  1. However for the price of a TT with uprated internals you'd be looking at 2 - 3 times the price this car is for sale for I guess. I don't like the pluck a number game, I think it's misleading and very unprofessional. I'd go supercharger if I wanted the risk if I was just going stock internals. This conviced me away from turbo here. Just see how many turbo'd cars blew Stillen would be ace if it wasn't for that daft bonnet or I wouldn't advertise a picture of the bonnet either
  2. Welcome mate. That kit would be the Veilside V3 (i think), couple of members have the kit with pics on site

Me too, I guess thats because we both live near Manchester Weather round here does suck
  4. Generally less than 300, but about 350 with motorway miles
  5. Cheers Paul, think this is now on my mods list - just cos I'm getting twitchy having not modded for nearly 2 weeks

    Removing rear wiper

There's a guide on the site across the water which may help here. I use mine quite a bit but may try some silicone wash
  7. Just to make you feel better, I heard of a traffic cop who drove his vectra at 140mph on the motorway to 'test his new car's abilities' and when he took it to the workshop the mechanic noted the data on the black box. . .oops I think when black boxes become the norm, if they aren't already, computer hackers will suddenly be as popular as Bigphil
  8. No probs, easily done. When you did manage to drive it, did you notice any extra rattle or cabin noise? I'll get one if it doesn't sound much louder

    How much?

+1 with the price but be prepared to drop it a bit if you need a quick sale
  10. thats cause i havnt drove it yet went to start it at the weekend and the battery was dead, so i have removed it and gave it to my mechanic to charged it for me, with the missus not driving it everyday at the moment it dosent get used every week, as long as its running for the trip to donny i will be happy Have you driven your car yet?

Why you selling bud? There's one on Autotrader here which is dirt cheap tbh. I'd probably advertise a couple of grand on top, but there's a lot of competition at the moment for cheap zeds so depends on how quick you want a sale and full spec like leather seats etc.
  12. Car looks awesome Jay. . .makes most modded cars look stock Nice to see you snuck your car in the background there Martin. Is yours finished now?
  13. If only Nick Freeman was a Z owner, this would be twice as much fun
  14. Z is quicker in a straight line - marginally. On the track, if it's got sharper corners the R32 wins hands down (eg Top Gear track) but on tracks with long corners the Zed wins hands down (eg Bedford Autodrome Evo Mag). The DSG gearbox is meant to be amazing as well, which speeds up the acceleration. R32 is a bit more economical fuel wise The best thing about R32's is that they have a bullet proof engine that can be modded a lot easier than the Z, and they seem to be a tuners dream. IMO the main downside is that they don't look nearly as good as a Z.
  15. Seems that i am too The title Southpaw Grammar is, as Morrissey says, referring to "the school of hard knocks" (southpaw being boxing slang for a left-hander). Note also that "left-handed" can also mean "homosexual".
  16. Loads of both and when you finally wake up you'll be better
  17. C'mon mods, post more pictures of yourselves so we can take the mick Me on the otherhand, I look like Brad Pitt. . only with less hair and skinnier arms
  18. Who is it. . .who is it. . .wish I knew
  19. Agree with the above, thought I was disappointed with the performance but realised that sometimes I overtake someone and notice I'm doing 80 Feels a lot quicker with a K1 exhaust, the butt dyno goes off the chart
  20. Gonna have to take it easy at Wales otherwise the missus will have to drive the first leg on the Sunday
  21. Are they UK cars of imports? Sounds like a good deal to me. I went to local Nissan and saw car's younger and less miles than mine for less than I paid 10 months ago. Petrol cars are being sold cheaper now due to less people being able or willing to pay stupid prices for petrol or tax. Wouldn't worry too much about it mate, prices vary all the time
  22. Outrage, I drive better when I'm drunk
