no rush to sell- I just want to make sure I don't give it away for a silly price and would be prepared to wait 6 months if it meant I got a good price. But it is the 'good price' I am not really sure of. Looking around that could be anything between a £9k part exchange and ????
-
Yeah they were cheap and one doesn't fit properly! I still have the original wheels, exhaust and rear lights.

I've been offered £11,000 for my Roadster in part exchange. With the car market all over the place at the moment I am not sure whether that is a good deal for me or not?? What do you think? Also not sure whether the modifications will make it harder to sell privately if I go down that route? An 05 import, 20k miles, K1 exhaust, Volks GTVs, Ings front spoiler, Pioneer flip out SAT NAV, non standard headlights and rear lights and a few other things. plate not included.

Can anyone beat 12 on a 3 seater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post a pic to prove it!!! aaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! sorry for the delay = had to avoid 'why are you taking a photo of the sofa?'!! Where the hell do you sit???? And Ninja Cat is number 1!!!! Exactly and thereby hangs a tale! I never sit on it now as I can never remember where all the cushions go after I've thrown them all on the floor in order to be comfortable - and as you will know they all have their own special position!!!!!! Please someone beat 12!!!!!!!!!!!

Where did you get them from Marzman? The other set I liked came from Delsea Motorsports but google doesn't find them?

http://www.humber.org.uk/Classifieds/SSnipeSer2_lge.jpg £3,500 taxed and MOT - I want it! Too far to go and look though.

That's it - a fantastic car. Massively thick and comfortable leather seats, walnut everywhere inside. I used to sit in the front passenger seat aiming and launching torpedoes from the huge front wing! My job was to clean all that chrome!!!!
-
my idea would be to paint the chrome vents too.... The first car I remember my dad had was a Humber Super Snipe - when you grow up cleaning the chrome on that it's really hard to shake off the need!!

I've been looking for a different bonnet for ages - not particularly bothered whether it's carbon as will paint it black. I know what I want, two chromed vents like the Merc slk amg. Any ideas??

Went to Frankfurt for the motor show and watch Eintract Frankfurt play SV Hamburg. Was originally hoping to get close to a GTR but Nissan were a no show - however I did spot a 350Z in the Merc auto braking system video!! I've included below a few of my highlights

I'm going to the Frankfurt motor show over the weekend, happy to bring one back if anyone wants to drop the cash off!!

Knowing it is a complete scam why not respond positively and take 'Mrs Maxwell' for a ride. Make up bank details etc and keep us informed of the fun! Get someone to translate your response into Welsh for 'her' benefit!!! http://www.translation-guide.com/free_o ... h&to=Welsh

My clutch has been slipping over the last few weeks, progressively getting worse so that now it's almost impossible to accelerate without slip in any gear. Been to Nissan who want £700 to replace with stock! Also been looking at replacing with an Exedy kit through my usual garage. 1st issue for me is that a worn clutch plate's symptoms involve the rank smell, there's no smell at all with mine so a bit loathe to go for clutch replacement (only done 20k miles) if it is maybe an oil leak. 2nd issue is what type of Exedy clutch kit to go for if necessary? I def don't want anything that is hard work, I don't do track days and living in London involves constant gear changing, yes I know southern softie! Any Exedy users recommend a kit and is Alex cheapest?

I do really like the Veilside shape and it looks stunning in white. But am I the only person who thinks the 'screws' on the wheel arches look naff? Is there no way they can be hidden to make them look not such an obvious kit? I've seen the kit on Mark's car which looks stunning from a distance but IMHO is spoilt close up by the screws.

Right - I will have to raise funds for the bonnet some other way!! These tickets are now FREE!!!!!! NO COST!! GRATIS!
-
Hope this is in the right section! In a bid to raise some money for my bonnet mod I currently have 3 tickets available for the Championship Play-off Final on Monday. 2 in Block 102 where I am sitting and 1 in block 143. These are either side of the half way line on the royal box side of the ground in the lower tier - premium seats!! pm me with a sensible bid if interested - I can hand them over on the day.

I'm in South London, Croydon if you are round this way. I've got a ragtop and the K1 with bungs in doesn't drown the music but you can still hear the rasp. Without bungs is a totally different experience, too loud and reverberating right through the seat into my back!
-
What do you suggest for the number plate - apart from putting the rear one on straight!!
-
I tried it without the bungs when I first had the exhaust fitted (K1 from ESR) but it was too ****ing loud!! Reverberated right through my body! Just right now and still loud.

After having my wheels refurbished I decided on a detail so that for at least a week my car will look clean!! Steve from Sevenoaks way came to my workplace and spent the whole day working his magic for a very reasonable price. I wasn't organised enough to take some before photos but it has made a massive difference to the look of the paintwork. I took the car out next day at the end of which it was covered in dust/crap etc. Normally I don't bother but now I'm para about keeping it looking clean so I popped into Halfrauds to discover Megulars stuff on buy 3 get 1 free. Saved £10 on some detailing spray, microfibre towels and a microfibre wash mitt. (all their car cleaning stuff is on same deal). I can now be seen sadly cleaning the car at the end of every day that I use it - so out of character!! I've attached some pictures below to prove I have kept it clean!

A square number plate gives different option for a private plate layout.

"These seat covers are not a tailored fit but have been tried and tested in the vehicle it is advertised for." oh right.......... we must all be mistaken then!!!!
