  1. good to see you found this site....meanwhile in your posts yesterday on my350z, you said you frequented this site...interesting hopefully you can actually prove what you have, and aren't blowing smoke up people's keysters (I could personally care less either way, I'll get joy from seeing any outcome from this)
  2. very clean car! does it come with the shirt?
  3. rasp is as much a function of the catback you use TBH if you want to avoid rasp altogether, then you must stick to certain exhausts. At the same time, if you remove the stock cats, you must be willing to trade a bit of rasp for flow, it's just how it is
  4. resonated quite honestly are a waste (I have them in my car!) - no quieter than std test pipes torque loss - toss that theory out the window. If you want to increase the flow but not substantially increase overall volume, high flow cats are the way to go.
  5. there are certainly gains to be had, albeit of course with a price tag forced induction is the more cost effective means, but it also introduces a level of complexity going the naturally aspirated route is more about incremental gains than a mammoth % increase but again, if resources are focused in the right areas, there are generous power increases to be had
  6. yep - it's a meeting of the Brad Pitt lookalike club.....with chicken
  7. Dont drink Any how me Ian and Lexx are of to get 5 bargain buckets with my winning lotto, watch out girls, 3 flash gits sharing 5 buckets are coming your way watch out indeed ladies

  9. It's unfortunate but true. I've experienced in first hand myself, as my long time girlfriend is African American. But such is life
  10. Yes they did. Unfortunately I think the US will have plenty more psycotic idiots lining up to take the place of these two. I am astounded at how race plays such a big part in American life in the 21st century. I think it incredibly embarrassing for the country that claims to be "the leader of the free world" that they cant seem to get over something as trivial as skin colour. I couldn't agree more, but keep in mind that our history as a nation is incredibly short relatively speaking, and it was only in the 20th century that first women, and then African Americans, were even granted the right to vote. Also keep in mind that as mentioned, the sheer size of our country, coupled with very different regional cultures we have, plays a very large role. Life is vastly different in the center of the US, for example, as it is in NY, or Florida, or California. The torch has surely been passed to a new generation, and it will be very interesting to see how it all plays out.
  11. S2 engine is extremely desirable, and very, very expensive when purchased new from NISMO T2 suspension is actually quite harsh, was sold as a US option for cars competing in SCCA T2 class, but is no longer offered as I recall The exhaust should be the titanium one (large "Z" on the center canister?), and again, very expensive new.
  12. A fantastic race for sure, one of the best I've seen...this season all in all is the best in my recent memory in fact. That being said, I'm not a McClaren fan at all - not sure why, they just don't do it for me. However, hats off the Lewis for being in the right place at the right time and getting it just right enough to come out on top. He's obviously a very talented driver, and I think he's a great steward for the sport in general. Vettel - what can I say. I'm with David Hobbes on this one - 2 years we'll be seeing him as World Champ. The boy definitely has chops! Now, as for Glock, I'd bet the tifosi sent La Cosa Nostra to search for his home starting yesterday lololol. He obviously confused brake pedal with accelerator, or had a momentary, yet IMHO deliberate "whoops" in order to not favor Ferrari. It was just too convenient that on the last turn he surrenders the position...wet weather or not. Either way, it was still a great race and a fantastic season overall. Meanwhile Glock was spotted making a rather large cash deposit today to a bank off the Caymans (I kid!) http://cornerbalance.wordpress.com/2008 ... _785318c2/
  13. no it's not, it's one of the 2 Nissan factory options offered in Japan The Z Tune wheel is a bit different...I have it on my car I love mine
  14. easy way to test - put the car in 4th or 5th gear, accelerate up a hill starting at around 2k if it slips, it's time for a replacement
  15. caster is not adjustable front or rear camber is not adjustable in front, only toe camber and toe are ever so slightly adjustable in rear aftermarket options exist to be able to give the car full adjustment
  16. in the US and Japan (and I imagine worldwide), platinum are standard. in other words to the OP, it makes 0 difference - both will work just fine, whether you are stock or modified
  17. I knew all the years of Reading MaxPower (back when it was what it was!) would come in handy...I actually get this reference lol
  18. Borla exhausts are no problem - we can ship worldwide, and shipping really is not all that expensive - especially with our newly renegotiated rates As for the headers, 1. you wouldn't want the Borla, as they really don't net any significant gains and 2. they are meant for LHD cars, so would not work on the UK or JDM models
  19. there is only a very small window of adjustment on these cars. Best bet is picking up a factory service manual (it might be posted here or you can get them on ebay for cheap). Even stock (at least on pre 06 models), the release point is higher than it is on many other cars
