Dont bother with de-cats, hassle to change over for MOT time and if youre really unlucky traffic cops could stop you and run an emissions test..v unlikely, but if they do then you got uneccessary trouble. Got an offer for V+ plenum and hi flow cats from Kinetix in US for about $950 shipped.. does anyone know where i can get a better deal in UK? All these bolt on bits probably make no difference until youve had a re-map ...hopefully next month will be paying visit to TDi (if i can save enough for it).

Keep it in the garage... you might wana change it back when u sell the car or if u damage your new one

Sounds like a good price.. but still u gotta pay all the taxes and shipping costs to get it over here (+25%)..then there's the fitting £1500 and re-map cost £400.. also what if it goes wrong, youll have to send it all the way back to US... Better to find a group buy in UK to save some money that way.

through the floor plate? funny bloke! Yeah totally agree the clutch is much heavier than most cars.. but as u know z's are muscle cars not town run-abouts If its a major problem visit a good garage.. they should be able to adjust it a little.. had to do that with my previous car.. Porsche BoxsterS. Getting my handbrake adjusted next week.. might consider getting lighter flywheel too sometime in future.

Thats weird..Think u got different unit than mine.. Maybe shud chase up your import company about that issue.. they shud buy u a new remote for it.. or at least compensate u.

Hi. Has anyone fitted aftermarket headers to their JDM 350z yet? Its a well known fact that Headers produced in the US don't fit UK spec Z's....but what about our JDM Z's? maybe theyll fit ours? It would be a huge advantage as aftermarket parts in the US are half the price.. If anyone can shed some light on this.. wud be huge help.

That sucks.. im getting a bit annoyed with my JDM car's functionality in the uk.. or lack of.. no sat nav, no dvds, no leather, band expander on radio means channels arent the same, no bluetooth handsfree, no tracker, no electric seats or side mirror defrosting.. the list is getting longer each day..

Hi.. No way... £1000+ for sat nav replacement is rip off.. there's another company on ebay who offer same thing for £800 Even that is too much.. get a car PC with touch screen for about £400. We want cheap ways of living with the standard units. Im trying to find and buy a Japanese Sat Nav DVD with UK map on it or get my freind in Japan to send over a load of Jap DVD's to see if it works.. over there the dvd's are a lot cheaper.

Any news from TDi regarding this piece of genius hardware? Im looking forward to seeing what kind of figures were gained after installation... as i might change my mind abt the V+ plenum which is on its way..
