hi .. yes i bought a 2nd hand primera sat nav.. stripped my jdm one out only to find that the one i bought was non functional!! GRRRR (I did get a refund, but only cos they stated 30 days warranty.) So important to make sure the scrap yard u buy them from offer a warranty and also insurance on the postage so they cant make excuses not to refund u if any problems.

Thats a chunky unit.. not sure it will fit in the cubby hole space.. will need to separate the screen and relocate the main unit elsewhere.

Nevermind.. obviously no one followed this up. Ive reserved an uprated pair of struts off bigphil for next week. Andy.. if u wana wait for that il give u feedback on it..ok?

Yep i called bigphil regarding "uprated boot struts" and he assures me that these new struts do the trick.. they are about £100 on exchange basis.. u send yours off and they return them to u next day, easy really. The removal of the counter balance weight from boot lid isnt good enough when youve installed a spoiler (nismo or other)..i did that few weeks ago and the boot will still collapse on my head if im not careful. U need to ring bigphil to make an order cos he just moved office and no internet there yet. 07714457051

DOH! Cant Val and admin team just kiss and make up? PS the cars and roads over here in Iloilo city, Phil really suck..huge holes in the roads, instant floods up to waist height and the best cars on the street are a loada beaten up Mitsubishi colts and 1.3 D Subarus with fake Evo kits on..well half on.. quite funny really. No laws here about car lights so u got the weirdest combos of undercar neons and external flashing strobes..they do their best to get noticed! im gona take a few picis ..see what u think
