Nope the 03-05 take the large wedge type. I just ordered mine from JDM-Performance How did u fit them? did u go from underneath the car or thru the wheel arches?

Im confused.. are the indicator bulbs different for 07? i thought 03-06 take the bayonet type?

Thanks for the feedback.. def gona upgrade the tyres, already got brembos, but red stuff pads from Bigphil i hope will help with my braking distance. KW or Tein suspension are very expensive.. wouldnt it be cheaper to get the anti roll bars instead? Anyone know a good website for some training courses to find out the car's limits safely?

okok .. i guess a lot must be down to skill of driver too! i just seem to get beaten round corners everytime Just been looking a lot at the jap shootouts on youtube and of all the cars going round tracks just seems Z doesnt perform as well on the corners.. also there is a high quality review of the RX8 vs 350z and again RX8 was noticeably faster round the bends (but obviously not on straights) But agreed ..maybe these youtube comparisons arent so accurate.

Want some positive feedback pls.. and from my experiences and what ive heard Z doesnt corner as good as others in same class (eg S2000, RX8, RX7, CaymanS all corner better from what ive seen on youtube and Top Gear reviews etc) Im also aware of the tyre issue..Bridgestones being rubbish.. i will also be upgrading to Toyo's to improve grip soon.

Since the 350z doesnt hold corners very well.. i was considering buying a rear strut bar but then found these three products online.. theres one thats includes a 4 piece kit for £+300!! But maybe it wud solve all the stability issues? Just had fitted kinetix high flow cats & K&N typhoon kit on my nismo exhaust and its vvv loud and raspy! Love it

Shifting in the Z is already quite stiff.. short shifter wud make even more so..

I shud have made a separate posting about Powerflow.. or as my local performance dealer calls them.. "Powershit". Dont use them! They screwed up two of my previous cars.. one due to not welding properly and the air pressure was so much it was seeping out the sides of the backbox.. (it felt like the backbox was gona explode everytime i accelerated) they looked at the problem several times but it never seemed to go away.. Second was for a Boxster S and they told me they did one before just recently..and they knew exactly what i wanted.. (my request being a strong sound under acceleration but quiet below 3000rpm..) but what they created was v different.. a horrible resonating exhaust that was so loud u might as well have had no exhaust at all... and they refused to make me another unless i pay again ..and whats even worse they insisted that the sound was fine!! cheeky sh*** They also conveniently lost the original fittings for the Boxsters stock exhaust.. worth over £100 and didnt compensate me at all. DONT USE THEM!!

Real hassle to fit.. took the garage more than 2 hrs.. and also the kinetix high flow cats didnt fit right either they kept hitting against a heat shield above.. till they hammered it a bit with crow bar.. am i just unlucky or something?! Even my nismo exhuast didnt fit right first time.. took them ages to hammer one side so the tail pipes were same height at back and i think since its dropped height again making them look crooked.. ummm

Fitted mine myself, didn't need anyone else to do it for me errrr.. u gotta read the small print on the K&N instructions.. "if not fitted professionally and properly warranty is void"

Gona get it fitted professionally by a K&N suppplier in S.London .. shud be more reliable than Sarnie's bodge job

Hi im interested in the kinetix plenum.. still available? Its abt £165 ($350) to get brand new from US inc postage.. used one shud be half price.. but u said its relatively new? so how about £90 (inc postage)? Also ..whats the direction youre going? FI with full de-cats and cosworth plenum? or replacing the Z with a new Skyline GTR maybe?

Sorry if last posting was last month.. Got a K&N typhoon kit last yr ..its been sitting in my room till i got my new high flow cats this morning. Going to get the garage to fit them this week at same time.. Just looking at the instructions for the K&N kit and its got about 60 steps to fit it?! What the hell!!! .. Im thinking it might take garage about 2 hrs to fit and i dont think i wana risk the local mot garage to do it cos of all the fiddly parts in the kit... Anyone had K&N installed? and how long it took u or garage to fit?
