Got Kintetix hi flows.. sounds amazing when combined with Nismo Exhaust.. (Pingu also got that combination since last yr and no probs reported). Still reasonably quiet at lower RPM's but when accelerating all hell breaks loose!! - sounds more like 911 Turbo

Can u post the link again for Adams vid.. or maybe i gotta look page or two back on this posting? Personally.. spending all that money on NA block to get 300hp isnt a nice thought.. as Adam stocks the Turbonetics single turbo system better just bolt on that in 8 hrs and get ECU re mapped.

Are u sure youre pushing hard enough down on the clutch when changing gears?? If u are and its still sticking..just go to your local nissan stealer and get it adjusted ..

Well we know it looks pretty.. but will it do anything? I beleive Bigphil has also ordered one and will be testing it soon.. im looking forward to comparing the 2 results

Well i was going to get it down with TDi..piggy back ECU, installation, re-map, rolling road etc ..cost about £1500 all in. PS this was based on Fcon ECU re-map

Well with all those bolt on bits u shud achieve 15% increase in power with piggy back ECU.. 15% of 268hp is 40hp. Cost of new ECU and fitting shud be about £1500... depends if u think its worthwhile. Might be better to put the money towards FI. On TDi's website on powertuning section they mention can achieve anything up to 80hp after the new ECU is fitted (along with all the bolt on mods).

Did u say u definately did/didnt see signs of rust on ur cats? how much is a replacement sensor?

Sounds like 2 unlucky buys there! I didnt go for a kinetix plenum in the end.. just spacer from bigphil. The kinetix cats just had them fitted recently.. and they didnt fit right as they kept touching heat shield making horrible metal on metal sound. They had to hammer in the shield using a pointed pipe..did the trick though. Other problem is the kinetix cats are supposed to made from aluminium alloy which will rust when in contact with salt.. so during icy or snow conditions on the road might not be so good.

Well.. thats really odd.. plenum spacer kits are supposed to give the best hp gains for the value.. if that gives 0 hp gains i dont know how Cosworth cud possible state 25hp gains on their part which basically does similar thing..

Hiya.. yeah, i lost patience with this and bought a plenum spacer...gives me an extra +10-13hp.

Certainly gonna use my credit card for some changes this year..gotta be the tyres first, then training, then if needed, susp or rear strut fitted. I guess that single turbo mod wil have to wait..no point adding extra power and speed if i cant even handle the car as it is Toyos seem to have the best all weather capability..everyone on this site have praised them no end.. but if u have something else in mind?.. pls mention it.

Ok now i got it.. so all the 03-06 Z indicators are def not the bayonet fitting type.. only the large wedge (capless) style bulb. If u check the JDM wesite they also sell the ones shown on ebay and also list them for 350z too
