Talked to 3 garages.. they say the engine mounts might have gone.. or v loose.. and its shaking the y pipe all over the place.. but thats just over phone.. im gona go in and get it investigated.

Agreed.. definately a good meeting point for the summer! Just sorry about my lawn mower.. if u look in the "wanted" section youll see that ive put up a post about Y pipe replacement needed and the problem.. Just wondering.. did we finally get out numbered by those smarty cars? hehe

Well.. it could be that it needs another support to stop it vibrating.. it seems to always break where the flexi parts are on the Y pipe.. and yes its only a couple of months old.. It cud be the kinetix hi flow cats too.. but i know loads of people who have this setup in UK and havent experienced this problem yet. Im gona go to Powerflo or Mr exhaust tmr and ask if they can fit a custom Y pipe without any wire flexi parts.. just straight stainless steel Y pipe..will be more rigid. If they cant do it.. then definately need to go back to stock Y pipe or maybe ask for alternate y pipe from phil.. i dont know how much they cost.

The Y pipe blows (basically cracks or breaks) in the 2 flexi parts. I beleive i stil do have cross bar.. but need to check that again.

I have one which I took off my car after 400 miles so it is like brand new. Why would you want the most restrictive part of the OEM zorst system. OH! and I am not local Cheers, Alex. Got a nismo zorst and hi flow cats and Y-pipe keeps blowing.. its 2nd one ive gone thru - i seem to be the only one whos experiencing this in UK..im thinking maybe just put back the original rigid stock Y pipe I think if poss anyone local i can just come by and pick up.. posting that heavy lump wud cost a fortune.. thanks

I got prob with my y-pipe part of exhuast but still shud be down there..unless it completely blows.. Sunday's weather forcast is cloudy but dry.. so might be ok

Everythings v tightly fitted.. the parts that seem to blow are the two joints.. (the 2 flexi parts of the y-pipe)...at the moment its making fan noise but i know this will get louder and louder with time and end up sounding like lawn mower v soon.. maybe its an idea to revert back to the regular stock Y-pipe...is there performance or noise lost by doing that?? Not sure if i shud even ask for another replacement... or if anyone wants to sell me one of their stock y pipes.. cant find my old one Phil - any other alternative aftermarket Y-pipe thats bit more rigid? PS i rarely have chance to thrash my car.. i use it as a daily runner to work thats only 15mins drive away in bad traffic usually..

Ive got same setup as u... nismo and hi flow cats.. Only after few months my Y-pipe blew.. i thought just one off faulty y pipe and Phil helped me out by replacing it. But its only been couple of months since the new one went on and i think its blown again.. I hardly thrash my car about.. im so frustrated!!

Varies.. in past we had about 5-6 z's on a good day. Wud be good if u come along... need some new faces and ideas Usually surrounded by smart car owners who meet at same time.. so more z's wud be nice
