  7. hmm this all seems slightly misleading to me snowfoam is not a replacement for shampoo, snowfoam can be used on its own but i dont know anyone who does use it that way it is made to work in conjunction with the shampoo allowing the shampoo to sit on the car and give better cleaning capabilities - it breaks down the dirt and allows it to slide off the car rather than be dragged around with a sponge yes it can be applied with a pressure washer but it can also be applied with a gilmour, it comes out like shaving foam so it wont cause any damage to the paint work, the pressure is used to agitate the snowfoam and create the foam effect, yes you can remove it with a pressure washer but you can just as easily use a garden hose the snowfoam is mixed with shampoo and warm water in the container it wont strip wax ! if you want to do that use fairy liquid to wash your car (seriously) the snowfoam method is very handy during winter with the amount of grime that sticks to your car, its much better to remove it without touching it and creating swirls and scratches like i said do a search on detailing world - these guys know their stuff !
  8. i use snowfoam with an AB lance and then pressure wash for a touchless wash when i'm stuck for time, otherwise i follow the foam with Poorboy's Super Slick and Wax
  9. Who me???? Gixxer: Pretty sure the zorsts from adam are $1365 including shipping and then plus whatever tax your stung for and at the current dollar exchange rate thats like ... ehm ... virtually for free i wish ! oddly enough i think it works out as £666

  11. superb ! thats what i was after £30 its not worth getting my socket set dirty for that price did you get yours from Adam ? if so did you pay import duty on it ? i've had loads of stuff from the states etc and never paid ps. not a good day at work , can ya tell Fitting the exhaust is straight forward but as you say not worth doing it yourself for the price, its a like for like replacement. The duty is paid when the exhaust or whatever arrives at the UK airport, you get a call from the clearing agent and pay by card. The duty is obviously based on the value but as it is pretty well priced from Adam its not a lot. I paid a lot more than Adam charges for the exhaust and the duty was just over £100. Its a Nismo S tune cat back. cheers mart, some good info, what if Adam put a lower value on the invoice so to incur less duty ? would he end up in shawshank ? cheers Paul the other thing is Adam hasnt put a price, uk price seems to be about £1500 !!

  13. how come everyone can be bothered to reply , without any real advice - do nismo only sell one exhaust ? or can it be cat back, back box etc ? and why cant someone (as you know so much about nismo) advise on the price of fitting ? non of the posts are helpful in the least ! thanks for the pics sarnie but i wanted to see the parts as i may fit it myself
  14. i use snow foam but on a coupe so i cant really advise do a search on here http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/
  15. i use poorboys wheel sealant, works great esp for winter protection - its not like an ordinary car wax - it is made to resist high temperatures (such as hot brake dust) so it doesnt stick to the wheels
