  5. Just goes to show how far it can be taken! Am spending the time to get better at knowing what products to select, but that is clearly a pro at work. Respect! same as me, in search of the holy grail of polishes, my garage is full of half empty waxes and polishes Paint correction aside, I'm starting to think there isn't a great deal to it other than personal preference when it comes to waxes and glazes! I agree bud, although i dont think there is a "best" polish/wax as it depends on what colour/ finish the paint is that your applying it to i like to try different ones but they just last too long application and removal has a lot to do with it, i dont use a pc to polish, they seem a little too agressive for the weekly wax, although i will hold my hands up and say i have very limited knowledge of them and with the anorexic paint on the datsun they scare me
  6. i've ordered a kettle of prawns off ebay, if you lads say it'll work i'll try it

  10. Now, now ,jim, that's not nice It was a bit childish, cos I'm envious. The car looks great! By the way, where do you get the Collonite? Jim, H5, Andyc, collinite 915 as Gixxer shows you also where to buy it, it is really good. H5, whats Jetseal, is it a wax? 11. It could be 'hologram' in the paint ? weird, it sounded to me as though he had wax on the soft top for plastics (eg number plate surround) use smooth peanut butter this will breakdown and disperse the wax, allowing it to be cleaned away with a cloth.
  12. lots of places sell collinite, the Collinite No. 915 Marque D'Elegance is the best try www.detailedobsession.com
  13. its unlikely due to the mileage on your car but if the fuel filter is full o crap this would stress the fuel pump and make it louder, if you get chance compare it with another Z and put your mind at rest if its ok then its just paranoia, 4 wks of therapy should sort that
  14. oh yeah - stoke direction 'ish cancel the exhaust fitting then, i'll buy some nismo cams and we can do those instead
  15. Yes i know i wish you would confirm if you are going to Wales or not tomorrow. sorry for the delay mate, had to sort some stuff before i confirmed It ok i just wanted to confirm with the pub numbers for the carvery tomorrow. Just hoping that it might not be too bad tomorrow. You will also be able to hear the Nismo newcastle - sunderland the cities of brotherly love - you can pop to bigphils - pick me up a nismo and we can fit it in the pub car park while we're waiting for our pudding
  16. If you have a local bodyshop, you could ask them for some panel wipe, this is what they use to remove polish/wax
  17. i would try wd40 if not try neat washing up liquid and wash off, this is a degreaser and washes wax off bodywork - thats why you shouldnt wash your car with it

    ps3

iirc the ps3 uses a laptop hard drive so it isnt too expensive to upgrade the hard drive and i think you can run an external hard drive aswell if needed
  22. no mate it was fine, i almost bought it, the interior was immaculate, i was going to buy a new clio and the zed off them with a part ex of a mk5 golf, he did all the figures and i said i'm spending 30k+ i want to go to get a coffee and think it over and he said he wanted me to leave to a credit card with them to ensure i would return !! so i told them to stick it and walked away, bought my zed private and a new clio from a clark in widnes
