mate. Sounds like you have a very reasonable budget. Should have no problem getting a good GT for that. For engine upgrades, mods you sound as though you are near BigPhil so it may be worth popping over to see him. ( Again Phil!!!). Servicing work out to APPROXIMATELY every 12 months depending on mileage. There are plenty of threads explaining P1, P2 srevices etc. Filling a Zed is about £65-70 which should get you about 350 miles. Upgrades and mods, lots and varied. The US dollar helps here. PM Adam for many of your needs. To me a Nismo Zorst is essential and reasonable. Enjoy the site mate.

Just about the same as mine, I was offered 22k trade in 6 months ago if that helps.

I have had autos for many years now because I did a lot of moroway driving and it didnt really matter. Bought a UK Zed so its back to manual, wouldnt have it any other way, its great to drive it as it was designed to be driven. Wouldnt want a Zed auti, it would spoin the fun. Many routes you can go down to buy a Zed, you will see them very cheap in some places but as ever, there are some dodgy deals out there. See other threads re prices. If you buy a bad one you may soon hate it. To me, you would be better stretching the initial budget and get something newer with history. Even better if you know the previous owner. All deoend on the £££s though bud, how much did you have in mind.

Dont remind me, not one of the more memorable parts of my motoring history. And it did melt into a pile if rust.
