Possibly the worst designed car ever, a TR7. Pop up headlights failed numerous times. Three cylinder head failures. Not a shock. Take a marina gearbox, an overworked 2 litre engine. Cobble them together and call it a sports car. I used to share it with the local garage 1 month with me, the next with them.

Deserved to win anyway, well done.

And to summarise all this good advice Nixy, its a matter of what the car cant do, once you know that you will be fine. Until you have seen how far you have to go to get it wrong you will still be wondering. In the early days I accidentally knocked off the ESP and tried a simple right turn onto a town road. Took a few seconds and a bit of rubber to work out why I wasnt moving.

Used to be the learning curve, buy what you can afford and keep it running. Also scary to remember the distances I used to go in them. They were all great at the time apart from the TR7, really still do hate it. 6 points for speeding and 3 cylinder head gaskets blown. My father also had to tow me back from Doncaster to Barrow with his Marina. Took 8 hours and we didnt speak for weeks afterwards.

I hate being a passenger in a zed, only done it a couple of times but it s the hell out of me.
