  1. Enjoy it Nixy, even my wife doesnt wave to me. The only recognition I have hd in two years was from a guy in a boxster who obviously thought I was one ( a Boxster that is) and a very nice laydee in an MR2 who obviously needed better glasses
  2. Just to add my bit. I work half the year and will attend any events when I am off. Having been to a few meets I have met some great people and had a great time. The Wales meet is a bit special for a few reasons. The roads are great, the scenery is great and it is usually well attended. I also know quite a few of the people who will be there. I dont normally get involved in suggesting dates as I have a 50/50 chance. I think when somebody has been to a meet, wether it be an existing thing like Donny or a forum specific day they will realise how good they are. So on a general note, if you are thinking about attending then do it. It takes a lot of organising and as Ebized says, its impossible to pick a place/time to suit all. Once started these meets will grow which is good for all.
  3. Well done bud. Enjoy, soon montain biking will be a distant memory
  4. No, not really. Much research needed. I currently have a Fiat Coupe 20V turbo and an Alfa GTV 3.0 so I need to make sure that a 350Z will have the necessary "charisma", having never owned a Japanese car before. Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum by the way to you and all the others who have posted. There are at least two members pretty close to you who I am sure will run you through the Charisma rating
  5. Glad to see you are assimilating so well Nice one
  6. Its the little things that make the difference. The Japanese are used to our ignorance in hotels etc but a little research into greetings and customs will be respected. It really is a one off country and well worth the treck.
  7. Definately Kyoto, lots to see there. I love Osaka, my second favourite hotel in the world was there. Used to be callaed the Sakai Grand. Just googled it but its changed its name. It had about six restaurants each serving regional food, not a burger in sight. Heaven. Yes, Fugu for the brave
  8. Just to give you a clue, I am lucky to see one a month. 4 in a day if you can manage it would be a record
  9. So if white is the new black then everyone with black will buy white resulting in me being one of the few with black that keeps the black so then black will become the new white
  10. And watch the first bit, its a little damp. Hmm,Zed road trip, stone chips, which tyres, servicing, clicky back axles Make sure you take a laptop and stay logged on It is a very different place though. The culture is unique and given the chance to get out of the Hillbilly Inn it is very relaxing.
  11. Hi Alan and welcome to the forum. Always better to ask before you buy and as for stupid, just search my early ( and not so early ) posts. Enjoy the forum
  12. What a mess, dont think seatbelts would have helped much on this occasion
  13. Been there many times and had a break before joinng and leaving ships. Its an amazing place. Havent been there for a while though. Would recommend trying it if only to view the lifestyle out there. Food is also fantastic and you havent lived until you have tried a Kobe Steak unless you are veggie
  14. Hi bud, yes the back end is fun, wait til summer though ( hopefully ). Welcome
  15. Sure they wouldnt mind if she borrowed a work vehicle for a while
  16. Seem to remember someone who isnt here anymore had this problem. Spoiler was off at a mini meet in Chester last year. Had a search but cant find a link, may need Beavis or Digsy on this one
  17. Somebody had to mention hairdryers on a roadster thread If its an 06 roadster its pretty unlikely to have a boot spoiler though. I do remember someone else on here with a boot spoiler that leaked, as I remember he took it off and refitted with some cheap rubber grommits which did the trick
  18. Well done bud. I wont do the pics think but somebody else will if you arent quick
  19. On a final note guys. Just done the math. Thanks to the response from members there is a bit of money going to the forum, not a lot but made it worthwhile. I literaly have a few left so if anyone else wants one pm me. This will make a difference Thanks again guys Mods please now lock, dont want the C word for another year

Tyre choice is always a great personal preference thing. Would have thought you would be ok in London, plenty of members around there. Anyone ?
