  10. I have been very lucky but several friends havent, one had a nightmare before it was resolved, mortgage not paid and standing orders not honoured. I have an arrangement with my provider that if they think I am spending out of my usual routine or if I spend more thn a pre agreed limit, they call me on my mobile to confirm. I know this isnt fail safe but it helps. I travel a lot and am lucky enough not to have had any problems. Glad you managed to sort it quickly bud.
  11. Hopefully, as I did, having established that this forum is a friendly place, I entered the location afterwards. Its understandable that people will be a little cautious when first joining. There are lots of people who have joined and dont post, its a matter of making people feel at ease and at home here. Seems to work
  12. Can see your point bud but if we are getting an extra bank holiday anyway it would help to put it in with the others causing another 4 day week which causes a lot of problems for some businesses. I think that whilst November is not the best time with the weather it may give our tourist industry a much needed help at a bad time of year. Bring it on. If it can be linked into remebrance and National pride then all the better.
  13. Hi stew, I have a bt home hub and love it. My laptop is in my office at the far end of the house and my wife has hers in the lounge. Speed is great and we are able to work oat the same time with no loss. I also has the advantage of giving ou the bt vision package if you can get freeview where you live. On demand viewing anytime. There is also a phone which gives you free evening and weekend calls. Great package and not a problem with it in the year I have had it. One big advantage, take it out the box, plug in and it works
  14. Down at Donny on the 12th, one day out per week allowed
  15. Told my insurance company about it and stressed it did not increase the power, which it doesnt. They asked why I had fitted it and I told them it made the engine more efficient. No change to my policy.
  16. Nice one Stew, good move bud and see you in Wales
  17. Dont believe it, just phoned home to give Liz the good news about the date Midge Ure is playing Settle that night. He will have to wait until I get there Any idea where we will be finishing up, Bala is only two and a half hours so no sweat
  18. Best place for it. Personnally Id have ran over it Note, if you do Wales you can drive behind me, need to keep Nismo distance
