  2. Just talked to the dealer ( again ). He says he thinks the bonnet size is standard so it should fit. Conclusion... he doesnt know so check it out with Holdcroft or MJP
  3. Just in case it happens to anyone else it requires reprogramming at the dealers. They have the original disk.

    CF damage

Just to say that the seller did a great job of packaging and protecting it so its in no way their fault. Will go down the claim route and then have a drive over to the North East
  5. Hi James and welcome to the forum. Not aware of any squeeky suspension issues but someone may correct me. Am at the dealers today so will check on the bonnet issue although I wouldnt get one from Nissan, the price will be ridiculous. Will post up a price this afternoon.

    CF damage

Continuing my bad car weekend I decided to fit my new Carbon Fibre bonnet yesterday. Removed the old one and took the new one out of the box The courier has obviously not bothered to store it flat and has damaged the corner. Have searched on google and it seems its very difficult to repair. Any ideas guys, preferably local to me
  8. Disk works when the power comes on with the ignition. Guess its off to the dealers then. Very strange
  9. Roof down and up the Lakes again I think Another cracking day

    MY08

Hi bud and welcome to the forum. Havent heard of any plans to upgrade although its never advertised. Dont bother asking a dealer, they are usually the last to know. Just go for it, you wont regret the choice
  13. Ok, will try again Two GM or Silver coupes eastbound on the M62 near Bolton sevices about 2pm today. I waved just as the nice policeman was trying to take my picture Also a Kuro coupe southbound on the M6 near Lancaster about 2-30 pm. I was the idiot in the Kuro roadster with the roof down It was sunny when I left London
  14. On my regular 370 mile drive it leaves me enough in the tank to go 30 miles to Tesco and fill up. You need motorways to get the higher fugures.
  15. Dont understand how manufacturers want to reproduce a classic car and can get it so wrong. It seems that every time they try they come up with a car that lacks the original character. Clarkson will probably buy one though
  16. JDM should give you a saving with a good choice of spec. Factor into that the waiting time. Seats cost around 400 to cover in leather. Then again if you see something advertised on here with mods you want you will save money. Most people return the cars to spec when selling. Already modded will save you cash. Buying a "known " car will give you a certain amount of security. Guess a lot depends on how much you want to spend and how much you want to mod.
  17. Its your round so you cant afford the zed
  18. It amazed me that adverts like this dont trigger some sort of suspicion with the publisher. Doesnt do their credibility any good.
  19. Hi Dan,welcome to the forum. As has been said, the GT spec gives you better resale and includes leather heated seats, cruise control Bose stereo, upgraded wheels and bluetooth. If you want these then fine. If you prefer to save a little money and spend it in mods then go the non gt route. Roadster is about the same but doesnt have the Bluetooth and is about 40kg heavier than the coupe. Mods tend to be cosmetic as the ecu compensates and cancels any stated improvements such as pop chargers and exhausts. These, with wheels tend to be the first popular mods. The bridgestone tyres are also not too popular generally due to a percieved lack of grip in the wet. Thats your starter bud, enjoy the search
