I didn't realise you were a water gypsy Martin. Which piece of water do you reside on? The lovely Thames off Canvey Island. A nice litle spot called Holehaven Creek. Seen many wintering black-tailed godwits about - it's an SSI for them apparently - and I thought it was simply Hellhole Creek Alssorts of stuff in here, we have to be a little careful about how we impact on the area, noise emissions etc. We also have a dolphin, a couple of seals and after an absence of decades otters floating about around us. This apart from the normal Essex wildlife

Just thinking I know the route and its great. As most people driving up north will be wanting to make a weekend out of it what sort of format do you want. Drive up Friday, run Saturday, hotel/pub on Saturday night and drive Sunday. Or a weekend up in Scotland with the drive out on the one day and a fre to shop day. Anyone got any thoughts on what type of accom they want, Pub/Budget hotel or something bigger. Jus hoping to gve Stew some input.

Nissan sat nav is ok but not value for money, If the car has got it fine but dont let the dealer load the price because of it. As a general rule bud dont take any notice of prices for parts from the dealer, there are a lot of very much cheaper options for the same part. Think Nissan are current quoting about 2.5k or something equally as stupid for rays
