  3. In that case I feel a little sorry for the garage doing the work. Main dealers will order parts if they know what they are. Nissan are nororiously bad for supply lead in times to dealers. I am informed that it is not uncommon for dealers to source parts from some of the traders on here as they can get them quicker and I am sure cheaper.

  10. Just had a google and there are many Nismo "style" kits out there. with vastly differing prices. Its fibre glass so the value will greatly depend on the quality of manufacture and the fit. Some of these fit well and others dont.
  11. Nice one Nick, sounds like you have had a happy return to the Zed. Sounds like you have a great few weeks coming up, I will be off to Spain for a couple of weeks too but without the car
  12. Think the last time I saw this covered the thinking was that the V Power etc gives better engine performance and after much debate the increase in efficiency when balanced against the higher price made using higher grade about 1 to 2p per litre the better option.
  13. Just to put this in context when considering the impact on food and other prices as a result of the increase in fuel costs. The price of Marine Gas Oil has gone up about 600% in six years. This has a very significant on anything shipped by sea. Containerships traditionally ran on a high speed service where arrival time was the overiding issue. All those bits from Japan are going up accordingly
  14. Learning to get used to an auto. tie left leg to seat. Its scary when you need to go for a quick slow down and hit the left " clutch" pedal out of habit. Face hard to windscreen

Yes I am up for a run out again in fact I was gonna post an Anglesey reccie mission nano meet in the next couple of weeks maybe - next 3 weekends busy with Work unfortunately but if anyone wants to meet up and go up to Anglesey to scan the teritory prior to a proper Mini meet up there then please let me know - we can stop off for a sticky bun and a cuppa while we are up there? Taking my camera also and try out some in car action shots for the next meet? I will use fluff from the bottom of my pockets cunningly mixed with old jelly beans which should create a suitable glue mix to hold my tripod inside the car! Look out guys, Stan has got the modding bug

  21. BP have no refineries in Britain anymore. They use their buying power and long term contract to purchase product at a good rate. If they do not need their quota they can sell it on at a small profit and still make money. As long as the volume consumed reamins constant they are ok. As has been said its the government that makes the big money, they benefit from duty on petrol and also increased insome from the high price of north sea oil. Pressure on the government is the only way forward,
